Artaste 56945 Rain 18/10 Stainless Steel Flatware 20-Piece Set, Black Finished, Service for 4

From reviews and the sellers sample pic I was so confused about how big the spoon was, the bowl size, how long it was....So I did a little photoshop after receiving the Artaste spoons. Im aware that spoons are have different names in different States, Countries and Europe but in Texas these are OUR spoons. Not shown, Demitasse, but we use that for grapefruit here (hahahahahaha). I love the weight of THIS spoon (far right), only slightly longer than the desert spoon, which many call a teaspoon, but a bit bigger bowl and so perfect for ice cream, reg sized coffee, cereal, etc. Excellent investment so far. At least I know won’t tarnish like my grandmas desert spoon! (2nd from left). Thanks everyone for your reviews!!

I just received my Artaste 18/10 stainless steel spoons. They were packaged in a nice and sturdy box that could even be a used a gift box if someone wanted these as a wedding gift etc. Inside the box, the spoons were individually wrapped in plastic and then bundle wrapped in bubble wrap. The spoons were then affixed to an interior box pullout using a zip tie to keep the spoons from moving around the box. The company spent money on good quality boxes and took the time to ensure these spoons will arrive in perfect condition. The spoon itself manufactured out of 18/10 stainless steel and it is beautifully ground with no sharp edges and has a nice weight; it’s definitely not some flimsy piece of metal. Last, the price point for these spoons is great at $21.97. These spoons are good quality product, at the same level as Oneida's higher quality flatware. I bought the spoons and they are really very nice. Simple, elegant design, very high shine. All the edges are smooth and polished. These are extremely nice and the price is appealing too. I read reviews on lower priced pieces and decided to put out the extra money for a more quality piece. I needed to replace some of my teaspoons from my Reed and Barton set that were missing. The pattern of the handle is nowhere close to a match but I like the simplicity of these. My only complaint, and it is a very minor one, is that the bowl of the spoon doesn't seem to be quite as deep as my other teaspoons. I say it's a minor complaint because I don't use them for measuring when baking/cooking so it doesn't need to be accurate....that's what measuring spoons are for.These spoons came beautifully packaged in a nice sturdy, elegant box. Inside, a printed card with info on the manufacturer, a thin foam insert covering the spoons which were each placed in a plastic sleeve and banded together inside a larger plastic sleeve. They're 18/10 mirror finish stainless steel. I recommend these if you're looking for flatware.

The quality and price are excellent. I also bought the Rain spoons and love them. Unfortunately, these forks don't nest with my other forks because the tines bend too far upward. In the photo my fork is at the bottom, and you can see the big difference. They won't fit in my kitchen drawer's flatware holder. I will keep the Rain forks but I will store them separately and use them when we have dinner guests. I'll keep searching for forks to mix in with my existing everyday forks.

I hope this review helps you and saves you some time if you are looking for spoons that are larger than a traditional little teaspoon, yet a bit smaller than a soup spoon. I spent lots of time reading reviews, ordered 2 different sets, sent them back, and finally hit upon these. I don't care that they don't match my other flatware. I was really looking for a more useful size spoon. The handle part is a tad shorter than my other teaspoons, but it's not a big deal to me. These seem to be well-crafted, also! My search is finally over!!

Buy these. You won't regret it. I just got my new silverware and got to open it and I'm super happy with it. I was leery about ordering it online because I like to be able to feel the edges of the spoons and forks to make sure they are smooth. I have trouble using them if not. 😁 Yes, I'm odd. I needed to order mainly because I think one of my kids has been throwing my butter knives away. I was down to like 5 out of a service for 8. This is a problem for my family of 4 with 3 of them being teenagers. Sandwiches aplenty around here. These pieces are so nice! The forks are larger than I'm used to but should be fine. They are substantial but not too heavy. I had thought at first there were flaws on the knives but it was just some black stuff that scratches off easily. Overall I think this is a great buy! Will definitely buy again if needed and will be purchasing for wedding showers in the future!Update: These are still pretty but the butter knives rust frequently and are hard to clean.

These are a lot sturdier than they look. They look a bit thin, but don't bend under pressure (see pictures). The size is great, they look great, and are perfect for everyday use. I ran them through the dishwasher without any issues.

I bought these utensils in August 2018. It is now end of December and half of the forks in this set have faded their coloring almost completely. I researched a set that would be dishwasher safe, and thought that’s what I was getting. I’m really disappointed. They looked so promising, and refined. Now that I see them fading the set looks cheap. Lesson learned - I will not be buying from this company again.

Lovely spoons but very big head - almost the size of a normal dessert spoon. Material and shape good though.Check measurement first. I’ve included picture next to a range of standard teaspoons we have and I’m pointing to these ones.

I really like the appearance of these. They are quite large and really easy to therefore get a good grip on the fork. I don't know how they'll look once they've been through the dishwasher for awhile, but hope they are as nice and shiny once they do. It came with a small card instructing how to look after them, which I've kept for future.

Es muy buena la calidad en relaciona lo que se paga. Note un detalle curioso, yo habia comprado la marca Artaste hace mas de 2 años y era made in USA, ahora note que dice made in China jejeje bueno igual como lo comento la calidad sigue siendo buena.
