Summary: If you are in the market for a GM'ing screen that has both customization, and quality, then look no further. this GM's screen is really as good as its going to get for its price range. Pro's 1. Durable Material that will last for quite some time 2. Instead of printed pages it has a slot to which you can slide in pieces of paper (or other things it has quite a lot of space) meaning no matter what system your running, or setting, or if you just need to add something specific to your campaign, this screen makes it easy. 3. The pages included cut out any fluff and include general rules we all forget, along with a blank dry erasable page, as well as a initiative tracker that is also dry erasable. Cons 1. the only real issue is that the clear plastic slip you slide sheets into can sometimes have wrinkles which make the pages difficult to read, simply taking the page out and pressing the plastic often solves the issue bit its annoying none-the-less. Overall, I would most definitely recommend this to any game master

I'm very happy with the quality and fit and finish of this screen! I saw some reviews where they arrived damaged but mine is in great condition. I have yet to use it but I hope to soon! I enjoy the cover insert art and the information on the quick reference inserts is helpful. My only complaints are barely worth mentioning but I'll put them down: 1st is that the backs of the quick-reference inserts are white. It would be nice if they were the same parchment color in the front so I could flip them around and use them as a neutral background for my own notes. 2nd is that the clear plastic covers don't come up all the way to the top like a binder does. It breaks up the visual continuity just a tad. This is probably because it might make it more difficult to get the inserts in and out so it's probably a functionality over aesthetics kind of thing.

I really like this product. It’s sturdy, looks great, and most importantly...is useful. I do have two nit picks. I would like it more if the panels were easier to turn in the direction I wanted. Hinges vs trapper keeping bindings. Also, I would like it if one of the panels had a clamp down on the inside to hold the dry erase sheets vertically so I don’t have to put it in front of me on the table or inside the sleeve. However the informational quick reference pages are great and I was happy to have the screen for my first time DM’ing.

I am pleased with the product over all. It is as the pictures minus one detail. The location where the pages are inserted into the DM screen are a bit loose making it far easier to insert the pages but this causes the plastic to hang out a bit making spots blurry. Not a huge deal as you just press your finger against the plastic and you can easily read everything. If you have seen the normal DM screen that wizards of the coast makes and thought "man that thing looks tiny and i sure wish i could make my own charts for the screen" then look no farther. This screen is easy to customize for both DM's and players. I put maps or job postings or shop prices or all kinds of things on the side facing my players so they have a quick reference. The inserts that come with the screen are amazing quality and extremely tough. They look like normal paper in the pics but holy crap are they tough feels a bit like a poly coated poster board. Would love to see the screen in different colors. I would like to see the plastic film that holds in the inserts be a bit tighter so i dont have to finger my screen to read some areas but over all i think this is an awesome DM screen and will be using it for a long while. Great buy! Does exactly what I need it to do as a DM! Since data and pictures slide in so easily and are interchangable, this screen is ideal for my games. The 5th piece that's for my own notes is perfect for changing info for each session! I used a wet erase market to draw on it and it came out easily. I would recommend this to any DM!

This is a very handy GM Screen. There are 4 double-sided panels. 4 panels facing the GM and 4 panels facing the players. You can use the D&D 5e inserts that come with it or use your own. I am currently using the inserts that come with it. I may create my own when I have more familiarity with the game system and know what I want to have in-front of me. I will be using this with my own inserts for my Pathfinder game and any other games I run in the future. The panels facing the players have artwork, but I may create some inserts useful to the players, though I will need to use a large font to make it readable by players farther away. Don't know how feasible that will be and will need to experiment.

I love all of the details and information provided. The customization is a nice touch too. My only small issue is that the film on the outside of the sheets isn't quite tight enough, which can make it a little difficult to easily read information you need. It's easily fixed if you just gently press around the text you need to see, and it usually sticks there. Otherwise, I absolutely adore the set up and cannot wait to use it for my game! There is so much quality information provided that I know I'll end up using on a pretty consistent basis, which differs from the original DM screen for 5E from WOTC. The initiative tracker is cool, and so is the blank sheet for maps.

It does feel sturdy, like thick cardboard sections sealed inside of a thin but tough plastic. I could see it lasting a while if cared for. The inserts are nice enough, printed on a thick cardstock. I'm still a little meh on them though, because they aren't going to last very long if you're hardcore and running games constantly. Vinyl or plastic would be 100 times better. Every time you hit these with a damp cloth to clean off marker they're going to degrade, possibly pretty quickly. Personally, I couldn't care less about the inserts because I'll make my own. What kills this product, for me, is the pockets for the inserts. The material used is basically the worst choice the company could have made. It is loose, puckered, and thin--all things that I could probably overlook, honestly, if it wasn't also frosted. It's not clear. If it was clear I probably wouldn't care. The combination of puckered, loose, and frosted is just the worst possible combination. You can't see a thing. Even sitting right next to it, you'll have to keep a hand free to move the crinkles around if you want to take a "quick" glance at it. As for the players, there's no point in using the outside sleeves to present anything important unless you're all at a small table and you don't mind players fingering your screen every 5 minutes. I can be a little OCD, I will admit, but I don't look for reasons to criticize products. What I can't get past is the price that I paid for this. I tend to spend a little extra on things, assuming (foolishly, I know) that I'll get a slightly better product. A couple extra bucks is one thing, but this screen is nearly 10 bucks more than the closest competitor. For a DM on a budget, that's a jump. That's a couple sets of the cheaper Chessex dice, which you will never have enough of. "Hexers," I know that you don't pay more than 5 or 6 bucks a pop to produce these things, you definitely put a 300% or 400% mark-up on them, at least. That's the biz. I get it. So, spend an extra 25 cents a unit so I know there was a reason that I paid an extra 50% for your product compared to what the other company charges. I know, it's a small thing. I'm really not even that mad about it. I just think it should be said. Overlooking such a small but important quality-of-life detail just reminds people that whoever designed this has likely never played a game of D&D in their life, which is probably true of most companies in the market, but other companies are not charging this much. I'm going to judge your product by your asking price. If it's priced like something that's made with love of the hobby and attention to detail, then there should at least be a clear attention to detail in the final product. Make a note of it. When I receive the competitors product, I will definitely be doing a close comparison. I'll be happy to update this review with my findings. If it turns out that the other screen is somehow that much worse, I'll be more than prepared to eat my words. I'm a reasonable person. Somehow I seriously doubt, though, that any difference will be enough to justify the extra money. It would have to be really bad. Since it has 4.5 stars with over 600 reviews, the chances look pretty slim. I just wish that I had seen the huge gap in the number of reviews before I ordered this one. Now I know. I guess you can teach an old DM new tricks.

Quality seems fairly okay, bit worried how long it'll last before the wear and tear will ruin the plastic sheets. Could you get something significantly better for a bit more money? Definitely. Will this work for you without issues for the significant future assuming you don't trash it around and swap sheets and things constantly? Definitely. Decent GM screen, no regrets in buying it, but quality isn't the best and therefore 4 instead of 5 stars.

Mein Screen ist gerade erst angekommen und ich könnte nicht zufriedener sein. Die Qualität des Materials und der Drucke ist großartig und durch die inneren und äußeren Leertaschen aus durchsichtiger Folie, kann man den Screen perfekt allen Bedürfnissen anpassen. Die Taschen entsprechen der Größe 30,0cm x 23,5cm was 2,5cm breiter als ein DIN A4 ist. Dadurch kann man selbstgemachte Inlays schnell wechseln oder Handschriftlich ergänzen. Die (5) mitgelieferten Inlays (1x Tracker) werde ich wohl größtenfalls ignorieren, sind für D&D-Master aber eine gute Übersicht. Fazit: Wer einen Flexiblen Screen sucht, ist hier gut bedient.
