SUPPLEMENTAL HEATING & COOLING: Heats by energizing a 1440W element and using internal fan to supplement existing HVAC heated air into the room Cools by using internal fan to deliver conditioned air from main duct work until desired temp is reached.
INSTALLATION: Compact, easy to install and only requires 9-1/2" of existing ductwork to be removed s directly to 8" rigid or flexible ducting May be installed by HVAC contractor, or by a wner with DIY experience in less complex installations.
THERMOSTAT INCLUDED: Comes with a low-voltage 24 Volt thermostat The thermostat included with each Hotpod contains a high/low switch for heating settings, with auto on/off switch and F/C temperature scale from 50-90 degrees F.
