Bought this off brand Blueray in September 2025. Played over twenty DVDs/Bluerays movies with it. No disappointments here. Over the years, I've had several different brands. And this is, by far one of the best. What is so cool, is you can watch a movie stop It, remove it, put a different movie in and then go back to the original movie you were watching earlier and if you want too, it can start off exactly where you left off earlier. "Memory" I buy my DVDs / Blueray online or at a store. It never had a problem playing these unless there's something on the the move, smudge/scratches etc. Which is normal. Mine came with the necessary cables to hook up with. But you can order separately if you have a different type of equipment. Once you're used to the remote control and know where the buttons are, It's very easy. No issues with the shipment or packaging and no damage. The picture/sound is great. But also, it depends on the type of movie you buy too. Hi definition/ blu-ray or an older movie. Each movie has their perks or downfalls. Not the Blueray/ DVD player fault. Satisfied customer, will buy again.

Exceptionally easy, like plug and play set up. Plug in HDMI Cable, plug in power, change TV input, and BOOM it’s done! Easiest setup I have ever done. No extra cables, wires—no fuss. Clear as a bell picture and sound from any DVD. Smooth door open and close, easy to understand remote. A delightful experience to set up and use!

Not the best universal CD player available but for the price quite a good deal. Really poor removal way as one has to poke the CD or DVD under the placement in the player. But works really well and it seems these days I bought it as I have a huge collection of different DVDs and wanted a null regional plater. My old pioneer finally gave up and was having a hard time replacing it.. So for the price this was just the ticket. Easy to set up and good picture quality.. convoluted small remote which maybe is my issue not the product... Plays almost every region so all my British DVDs are back within my ability to watch..I am not into streaming as I want older movies which this player gives me the option to still enjoy.. Worth the money although has its quirks ...

Spent some time getting this thing to play blue-ray. Kept coming up switch to HMDI. There are 3 ports in the back of the monitor. I kept using the first 2, till I found out the 3rd port in HMDI. Bingo, it works. The question is how long will it work? I got a problem with these sets coming and going. Although, I do have a dvd player that's over twenty years old and plays great. I have somewhat of a collection, and I'm tired of changing the format, it's staying here. Besides, it's not all that expensive. So we'll see. And for a disc player, it has enough buttons on the remote to launch something somewhere by accident. If you have small fingers for this, you're better off. But it works, and I'm happy.

This Jovell player does exactly what it is supposed to do, and it does it well for a modest price. Contrary to some reviews, it does have an HDMI connection, and a coaxial port to connect to an audio device. (It also has the standard RCA ports for connecting to older TVs, but no optical port.) The device is very simple to connect and set up. In my opinion, its biggest shortcoming is the remote controller. Not only are the buttons very small and difficult to see in low lighting, they are also laid out in a very counterintuitive manner. For example, the stop button is adjacent to the pause/play button, so that it is far too easy to stop playing the disc when you meant to pause (or resume play). For the price, I suppose I can live with the lousy remote, but on the other hand, how difficult is it to design a sensible remote?

I’ve had this machine now for a while and it’s still working great. And for the price of paid, I was surprised.
