I bought both the top and bottom shell replacement for my PS5 DualSense Edge controller and I’m honestly impressed with the quality. The pieces fit perfectly with no gaps or loose areas, and installation was much easier than expected. Once installed, the controller looked completely refreshed and almost factory new. The material feels durable and doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at all. All buttons, triggers, and ports lined up correctly, and nothing affected the controller’s performance. It also gave my controller a more custom, premium look compared to the original shell. If you want to restore a worn controller or just customize your DualSense Edge, I definitely recommend this shell set. Great value for the price and worth the upgrade. Feel great.!

This is a pretty great modification since the leather starts to peel like crazy on the original back plate, I got the translucent glow in the dark plates and it's pretty cool on the controller, there is so many great color options, but I encourage you to get the glow in the dark, it is just so good. It's sturdy and tough plastic, no gaps, feels smooth in the hand. Real easy install also.

Easy to install, they fit perfectly, no gaps. The grip texture on the back is great. Color is a transparent black not super dark. Feels like it would be oem as if Sony would have put them out. High quality for a great price. I actually prefer this to the original back plate with the weird plastic that came off after less than a year.

From the moment i got the dual sense edge, i vowed to take good care of it by washing my hands everytime before using. However, no matter what I did, it was not enough to prevent white rubber from eventually turning yellow due to the sweat from your hands when playing. So i had two options, either try to clean the controller and risk ruining it even more or replace it, which is when I found this. Installation was very simple, and my controller not only looks better but feels better too which i wasn’t expecting. I highly recommend getting this for your controller whether youve had it for while or just getting one now. Some final advice id give if your going to purchase this is to watch their installation tutorial on YouTube to learn how to do it properly, be careful not to hurt yourself, the controller or any pieces and lastly be careful with the separator tool because while trying to remove the back from my controller, the tip of the separator tool started to get damaged a little bit but once your done removing the back its no longer a problem.

The plastic fits exactly as it should into the controller. There’s no wiggle or gaps I could see, and the atomic purple looks as good as always. The plastic it’s made of is also very soft and nice to hold. However, the plastic edges where the grips are meant to be on the original controller are slightly too sharp. It doesn’t hurt your hand, but it is slightly distracting and annoying to hold because of this. If you’re really set on this color and design to get away from the original’s grips falling apart, you could sand it down slightly, but that’s only if you’re extremely invested in this. The small piece that goes inside the back cover that holds the spring to unlock the front cover also has slight defect in the cut where a straight line is slightly crooked, but thankfully that part isn’t meant to clip into anything, so it was only a visual issue.

the item did not fit correctly, the back plate has parts that won’t even clip in because it’s a bit small it seems, pretty disappointed. it looks cool though.

Installation was easy when watching the video and it fits well/looks great! It is smoother than I am used to but ordered stick on grip pads and that made it very comfortable.

I was initially hesitant to buy this product as it should not be necessary. PlayStation seems to be insistent on selling poorly designed products that are not designed to last. Fortunately peeling grips are much easier to deal with than multiple pairs of snapped headphones. I originally liked the look of the clear black model but was hesitant and ended up choosing black. Fortunately the order fell through as they ran out of stock and so I went for my original choice which was definitely the correct decision. The clear black model both looks and feels great on the controller. It doesn't have the same level of grip as the original but it absolutely isn't a problem. The kit includes everything you need and the included documentation has a link to an installation video which is easy to follow, although it may take a few attempts to remove the shell. Be careful not to injure yourself removing it. The video included this warning but it was a bit too late for me. I found that one of the clips didn't quite clip in the back which left a very minor gap but it is barely noticeable. I might be able to take it off and adjust it but I don't want to risk damaging the shell by removing it. There wasn't any padding in the box but fortunately the shell was light enough that it didn't sustain any damage during transit.

I always hated that rubbery feeling on the rear of the DualSense Edge. This is eXtremeRate product is very easy to install, if you just follow the YouTube link they provide you. It's not the coolest product to be transparent, but at least it's more comfortable for my fingertips now! 🙂
