These are utterly useless. The slightest tension on the string lights causes them to bend or lean. Doesn’t take much and they won’t hold anything heavy.

I’m turning my backyard 10 x 10 2nd floor patio, into my wife’s and I, outdoor zen area. These rods do exactly the trick for lighting for them nights we just want to just decompress the worries of work. They were simple to install and hold the weight of the lights even kept their integrity as I fastened them with tension wire for the lighting.

I had to return, wanting to light up my new mini backyard.. hoping to add height to the space however as renter I spoke with my landlord before installation he asked that I don't use the kit to screw into the wooden fence. I couldn't use the poles with the spikes to hold only due the soft ground . The materials that these are made of is great, I did open one box to see how difficult it might be to install... anyone can do it..all you need is a drill and time.

Would have been a nice product if it came with all the pieces.

Perfect pokes to hold up my lights! I wanted garden lights on my deck, but didn’t want them along the deck railing. These were easy to install, maybe took 15-20 minutes total. My lights are up high above eye level which is exactly what I wanted! They seem pretty sturdy. Have stayed put through wind, rain, snow, and ice. They definitely appear to be in place for good. Great value for the money. Would definitely buy again .
