OtterBox Symmetry Case for Samsung Galaxy S9 - Black

This case feels well made, fits my Galaxy s9 very well and isn't too bulky. The power and volume buttons work fine when it's on, and it doesn't prevent my wireless charger doing its job. However, I feel it doesn't give as much protection as I would like to the screen. It has raised bumper top and bottom to stop the screen hitting a flat surface, but the sides are lower and expose its edges to possible damage. I know this shows off the curved edges of the screen, but I would rather have a more protective case and a slightly less flashy look. If I'd wanted minimal protection I would have bought a minimalist case.

Otterbox is a well known brand with a good reputation. Never had issues with their products. This case doesn't add much weight or depth to the phone. It's still possible to operate the phone one handed.Due to the front edge being slightly raised it protects the phone screen well (depending on the surface your phone drops on).Due to the rigidity some may find it difficult to take the case off or put it on.When I first put the case on I was worried about the phone buttons - quickly realised there was nothing to worry about.If you have a screen protector on tour display make sure it is installed correctly - if the edges aren't on properly the case may make the edges worse.

I have always had OB and always will. It is beveled top and bottom to keep the screen off the surface when face down whilst also allowing access to the curved edges of the screen. Plenty of access for the fingerprint scanner, and it doesn't add a massive amount of bulk (I actually find it easier to hold with the case on). I dropped this down my stairs within a few days of having it with little more than a dent on the case - if you're willing to shell out for an expensive phone, protect it with the best.

I was only looking for a £10ish case, but after abit of research into cases this seemed like a good choice. I was abit weary spending this much but I can honestly say the case is perfect.. for me anyway. Looks exactly how I wanted my case to look, feels proper comfortable in my hands and its somehow quite robust without being bulky at all. You won't regret it, its worth every penny.

The media could not be loaded.  The back of the case just under the camera as started to peal off . Plus when I tap on the back of the case there is movement between the phone and the case. Which has made wireless charging not work.

Its not a box...i was expecting a screen protector too....im sure its sturdy and well made but come on 'otterbox', its in the name...

I have to say, it looks pretty elegant for such a chunky case - and it's saved my phone on 4 occasions - not a mark on the phone after drops from mid body height - the classic 'get out the car, phone falls on the floor' type shenanigans.Better still, the case shows no sign of damage either from these falls, except some very minor scratches.As it's a matt finish, those are barely noticeable.Worth the price, that's for sure.

Great case, very protective and not as big as Defender, best case ever for S9 in my opinion but I am a man and have big hands, for a woman would probably be too big, my wife found quite large for her tiny hands.

This is the third Otterox case I've bought for various models of Samsung's Galaxy range. I'd never buy another make. It's solid and trustworthy and offers great protection. Perfect!

WOW! Phone fell from approx 5ft onto rigged concrete face first with no screen protector and not a single mark on the phone (Galaxy S9), only small scrape on the case where it landed first. Top quality and value for money. Great if you maximum protection with minimal bulk.

Good, strong, durable case, arrived today. Onky downside is that there is a chip on the bottom left corner, as if it has been used.

I had a Gear 4 case for my phone which fell apart less than 1 year in. The OtterBox case is far better. It is very durable, fits in your hand easily and I have had no issues with it.

I usually drop my phones its just a question when. After about 6 months of using this case I dropped my phone on carpets and concrete floors and it survived. The only gripe I have the back is a bit too slippery just safety first

I always use Otterbox cases and always recommend them to my family and friends. They cost a fair bit however the last for ages and can stand up to some big drops. It has definitely saved me a few times and has been worth the cost a few times over.
