Copic Markers Shadows and Shading

I looked at this item for a number of weeks before I bought it. I'm so glad I did, and I wish I hadn't waited! Though small and brief (48 pages plus glossary), it is absolutely packed with easy instructions and simple illustrations to help the reader understand how to put more life into art. I'll read it again and again until I commit its lessons to memory. My artwork has improved already!

I took the Copic classes that they offer and this pretty well covers everything except for the individual instruction...but all the principles are there. Would highly recommend this book for crafters/artists interested in learning how to optimize their use of the Copic markers. Transaction went smoothly and it arrived as described and was in secure packaging.

I admit I haven't had time to get all the way through the book. The charts are very helpful though. I wish they had a better way to keep them in the book. they seem to slide out but I guess I can fix that they don't. Price was a bit high for the amount of pages.

I'm new to drawing and this will help with the shading and blending I don't usually use magic markers so this book I a must have for us starting back in art

I am a crafter and not an artist. I have always had problems with shadows and shading objects. I thought this book would help me. It starts out basic enough and then it really gets complicated; at least for me. I ended up not finishing the book and have not picked it back up since. I suppose for an art student it would be great but not for the average dabbler.

This is very helpful for ether Copic Markers or even any medium as to knowng where to put the shadows and the shading.. It gives guidelines for sizes of shadows dependng on where the sun is an the height. This is an excellent referce book.

Since I am new to Copics, this is a great guide for shading and shadows which make a colored project card etc) really pop. The book takes you through all the angles and types of light that would be on your project. Highly recommend.

THis is one awesome book, I have hd the pleasure to meet the author and have it signed!!! All I can say is her talent are just amazing and can't tell you enough how much this book has helped me. A must have in any medium.

Small but mighty book. Really helpful content. It isn't springbound as illustrated though.

This is a great book. Great information and I like the size. Easy to carry around. Was a quick read.

Survol rapide, mais clair de la notion des ombres. Bon départ pour l'enseignement aux enfants et aux adultes débutants. Les grilles sur feuilles transparentes sont intéressantes pour visulaiser le concept de la perspective des ombres, sans expliquer la perspective. Bravo.
