JETech Case for iPhone 6s/6, Anti-Yellowing, Clear

This is a review of the JETech iPhone6s case, crystal clear. In a nutshell, I really like this case. It's 1/4 the cost of similar cases that I saw in Verizon store but equal in quality. It goes on my phone very easily yet once it's on, there is no way it will accidentally come off. The "naked" iPhone6s feels very slippery in my hand. It's so thin compared to my 5s that I'm always feeling like it's going to slip right out of my hand. This case solves that problem. With this case on my phone, I no longer feel like it is slippery. It's also very thin and minimalistic. It has a bit of a lip around the entire edge on back and front which is great because if your phone does drop and lands screen side down, the screen will be more protected because of the lip. I also like the entire edge of the phone is covered by the case since it wraps around the edge all the way around. I've had other cases on my 5s that left either the top, bottom or both edges open and thus prone to getting scratches, nicks etc. This case doesn't let that happen. The cutouts are pretty accurate although the camera lens cutout is not absolutely precise. However it does not affect picture taking in any way, so it's no big deal. I'm miffed by the reviews that say this case caused scratches on the back of their phone. I think any case will allow little particles to work their way in and to the back of the case, but if you take the case off once in a while and wipe off the case and phone, this should not occur. As for the crystal clear case becoming cloudy or discolored after some time... Hey, it's a $6 case... I don't expect it to last forever. This is a nice minimalistic case that provides good grip on the phone and it's working for me really well.

Definitely the best minimalist case I have found for both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+. I bought this case ahead of time of receiving my iPhone and have been using it since. I love that the case is made of TPU which is like this smooth plastic, not the hard plastic that most other cases are made out of. The material just makes the case feel good in the hand. It doesn't just look good either, it's very durable. I dropped my phone on cement, from about waist height, with the case and I only received a minor ding to the top corner of the case and absolutely no damage to my phone itself. The case is so good in fact that I have bought more than 5 of these for both the normal 6 and 6+ for family and friends, in various colors and they all have nothing but good things to say about the case as well. The combination of the price and quality of the product makes this a no brainer. Do not hesitate to buy this, especially if you're weary of the brand. Speaking of the brand of JETech, I would like to take a second to speak about their customer service. Like I previously mentioned I ordered several cases of different colors for family and friends and one of them, I purchased the clear case for my brother, since his iPhone 6 is silver. After a couple of weeks the case started to discolor and turn yellow (the same color I have seen similar cases of similar color turn after some time). Knowing that it was way past Amazon's 30 day return policy and I contacted the seller via email and told them what happened and the responded quickly and asked for a photo of the discolored case and after sending the photo to them, they immediately said they would email be sending me a new case, no questions asked. I appreciated their ability to handle the situation, especially since I responded with asking whether they could send me the black color of the case, since I have had much better success and knowing that the clear case would probably discolor again in the future. I wasn't expect much from my request, but all they said was to send the Amazon link to the case I wanted and they would send it. And they did! After a few days of receiving their email, that they have mailed the replacement it was at my door. Great customer service! Thank you JETech for your effort and you have earned a loyal customer for the future. Do not hesitate to purchase from JETech! Update 12/4/15: So after a little bit of time, in the replacement case they sent me, the plastic back started to separate from the rubber bumper part and after contacting JETech they were more than happy to provide me with a replacement. Another A+ from their customer service. I also received the case within 3 days from corresponding with their customer service department, which is great! The only thing I want to mention is that the replacement I received wasn't quite the same as the original case I first purchased. I think this may have something to do with the recent release of the 6s, maybe? Anyways the difference I noticed form the previous case and the replacement are as follows: the parts of the case the cover the button are a lot harder and more plastic feeling, which I don't particularly like, however it's not too bad. Also there seems to be more of a lip that's suppose to protect the screen when you lie to face down, which is interesting since I thought the lip the original had was just fine and seems like the case is a like bulkier, but very minimally. Also there doesn't seem to be a the logo stamp on the back of the case, which is cool. None of these differences make the case worse, especially for the same price, so it's not worth changing my original score. It's still a great case if you're looking for something minimal and you can't beat the price. And again the customer service of JETech is top notch.

Great clear phone case. Protected my iPhone 6 for five years. I used with a screen protector and phone still looked like new even after it completely died.lol

General details: I'm using this case with a space gray iPhone 6s. The case forms a bumper around the edges with a raised edge on the front and on the back. This allows me to place my phone face up or face down on a table without the screen or back touching. The back has a clear solid sheet recessed from the edges for added protection (its a full case not just a bumper). When first using this case I couldn't tell which side was the front of my device when it was in my pocket because the back plastic is as slick as the screen of my device, and the raised edge is on front and back. However, I learned the back edge reaches a little further around, or I can touch device buttons to be sure its orientation. Pros: Clear back for visibility of the iPhone. Seems durable and good protection. Stays on tight (not too tight, may fit loose on the older 6?). The bumper edge makes the device easy to grasp and hold (not to slick). $10! The raised bumper on the back means the clear back of the case is recessed toward the device. I attached a metal plate to the back of my phone for use with a magnetic mount in my car. In my old Apple leather case my phone would seesaw around when I put it on a table because it rested on the metal plate I had attached. With this case, the bumper edge means my device sits flat on the table on the bumper. Cons: The bumper edge is noticeable and thick, and while the entire case is clear, the bumper edge, being thicker, creates an opaque halo around the device when viewed from the front (see photos). This makes the device seem bigger and creates a noticeable border around the screen. For those who want to see the device and have the case "disappear", this one doesn't. Other cases such as my previous Apple black leather, and my friend's smoke gray plastic case, which is similar in design to Apple's, blend in better; they are less of a bumper with a back, and more like the Apple leather case with one continuous piece from front edge all the way around. The front raised edge of bumper-like cases such as this one have some impact on the "3D swipe to switch apps" feature of iOS 9, but can be worked around (same issue as Apple's leather case). Finally, all of the buttons are covered by raised plastic "buttons" (vs. being cut out for direct access to the devices buttons). They're smooth and rounded on the edges, but this again has the effect of making the device seem bigger. They're all good quality, and some people may prefer this for added protection. I may break them out which looks like it should be easy to do. So many cases seem over priced. This case is simple, seems a very good deal, offers full case protection, and the cons are relatively minor and mostly subjective. I'm planning to attach photos taken purposely in bright sunlight which will emphasize the "halo" of the bumper edges.

Exactly what I was looking for. I have a new iPhone 6. I want to hold it and feel it. That's one of the beauties of Apple products, they feel great in your hands. This case allows me to feel my phone and carry it in a pocket and forget that it is there. Granted it offers minimal protection, but I'd like to think that the plastic around the edge has some protective effect when it is dropped. So far that is the case. I've dropped it at least once and have seen no ill effects. This case leaves the buttons easy to use. The buttons are actually raised, allowing me to easily feel which one I am choosing. The cut out ports are working good too. I can use all of them without removing the cover. The other thing I like about this case is that it gives just enough grip on the edges to keep the phone easily in your hand. Before I had the case, I felt the phone was slick enough that I always felt like it was going to slid out of my hand. I originally bought an Otter Box case for this phone and used it for a couple of weeks before buying this case. While the Otter Box case was slimmer than my previous 4S OB case, it made the phone just bulky enough that I didn't like putting it in my pocket. Also, the ports were not easy to access. I had to lift up a plastic flap to use the headphone port and actually remove the case if I wanted to use the after market charging cable I bought. I thought the OB case would bridge me to the time when the Lifeproof case was available for my phone, but there were too many down sides. I like having a case that is slim and light for everyday use and another for times when I'm outdoors, active and near water. I will still buy a Lifeproof case, but this one is great for everyday life and enjoying the Apple experience.

I didn't want a case for my iPhone 6. I've never used a case on any of my phones for any length of time. When I bought the new phone six months ago, my wife implored me to buy a case. I don't like the way a case feels. I don't like that it adds bulk to the phone, that it makes it harder to pull out of my pocket, and that it can block access to headphone jack (a problem I had a while back with another case and another phone). "But what if it gets scratched?" she asks, incredulously. "Who cares? It's a phone. It's not fine crystal stemware." I had my last phone for four years, and it had very few scratches at all. I just adhere to a tried and true method: 1) Phone and wallet in my right pocket, keys and change in my left pocket; and 2) Don't drop the phone. For many, many years and many, many phones, this strategy has proven flawless. Until it wasn't. I was wearing polyester basketball shorts. I was leaning back in a patio chair. I felt it start to slip, and then that phone shot out of my pocket like a kid on a water slide. Didn't fall more than a foot and a half. New $700 phone, cracked screen. It's a small crack in the corner, and no functionality is affected. But my wife was there. She saw it happen. She didn't even have to say anything. Her point was made. So I ordered the thinnest, most unobtrusive clear case for the least amount of money I could find. This was it. And it's a perfect solution. It's not bulky. It's not hard and plasticky, nor is it too rubbery and so "grippy" that it sticks in my jeans pocket. I can still flip it around in my hand and do everything that I like to carelessly do with my phone. But now I know that if it falls out of my shorts as I lean back in a patio chair (or worse), there's a better chance that it will survive the fall.

I like this cover. Its the first clear cover I have had. It’s crystal clear and slightly flexible. Just enough to get your phone in. It’s a tight fit so you’ll need strong hands. I love that the photo I have had in my other cases, can now be seen. Also, since it’s see-through, I recommend you cleaning your hands, the phone and the case before installing. You will be able to see every smudge, every spec of dust and lint. It’s a bugger to get back off again. As far as holding it and how it feels, it has a edge on the backside the sticks out beyond the back panel. I guess it aids in grip but it’s not the most comfortable thing to hold. Going to take some time to get used to. I have not dropped my phone with this new cover, so I am hoping it guards against damage. Update: The case itself is holding up nicely. Dropped it a few times and it’s protected my phone well. The thing I’m noticing now, is even though it’s a tight fit, there are all kinds of debris, hair, fuzz inside the case. Not the manufacturers fault, I guess that’s what comes with having a clear case.

Ho acquistato questa cover per la mia fidanzata. Già vedendo le immagini pubblicate dal venditore si capisce che è una cover ben fatta e che è l'ideale per un iPhone rose gold. Mi sono convinto, leggendo anche i diversi commenti degli altri acquirenti, e ho acquistato il prodotto. E' arrivata in tempi brevissimi e in una confezione Amazon standard, all'interno di un'ulteriore sacchetto che la proteggeva. La cover risulta ben fatta, con la parte posteriore trasparente che non presenta graffi e ben collegata alla parte in silicone. Una volta inserito l'iPhone all'interno si nota come la cover sia molto protettiva e con i fori al punto giusto. Pertanto la consiglio per l'acquisto in quanto non presenta alcun tipo di problema ed è, inoltre, sufficientemente protettiva, quindi non risulta sottilissima come una cover da 0.3 mm, ma non è neanche eccessivamente spessa da far risultare ingombrante l'iPhone.

Me gusto mucho esta funda. La parte posterior es completamente transparente y se siente rígida como si fuera acrílico duro y los costados se sienten como de plástico suave y de calidad. Compré la versión Gris, se ve espectacular en el iPhone 6 Negro-Gris Algo importante de añadir es que los costados de la funda no se sienten de silicona ni pegajosos, o anti-derrapantes, se sienten correctos, no hay problemas para sacar el teléfono del bolsillo y que todo el bolsillo se salga del pantalón, como otras fundas que he tenido. Definitivamente el mejor protector de cualquier teléfono es el cuidado que uno mismo le da, agarrar siempre con firmeza tomándonos nuestro tiempo para llevar el teléfono desde donde esté hasta la altura de la vista parece ser lo mejor para evitar caídas y daños, pero por si me descuido, esta funda parece tener lo necesario para proteger al celular de una caída de al menos 70 - 90 cm, tal vez más. El envío fue puntual.

The fitment is good, product looks durable and has a nice touch. I chose the black variant because full transparency from other brands became in sooner than one year yellow.
