🔥 Keep Your Cool, Elevate Your Game!
The GeeekPi Active Cooler for Raspberry Pi 5 is a specialized cooling solution featuring an aluminum heatsink and a PWM-controlled fan, designed to enhance the performance of Raspberry Pi 5 models (4GB/8GB). It includes thermal pads for efficient heat dissipation and comes with all necessary installation tools.

Easy to install, works as desired
Simple and easy to install. Fortunately my application doesn't create much heat so the fan kicks on when needed. Very quiet when running.

Great upgrade
The fan actually seems to run much less than the official Raspberry Pi 5 active cooler. Could be a result of the more efficient and larger heat sink.Cools well, good quality, great fit and quiet fan.

Keep your Pi Cool!
This heat sink works great and is lowe profile enough that should not block most Pi Hats. Keeps my system cool and I have notice no thermal throttling. Great performance and cost. Recommend!

Keeps My Pi 5 Cool Even When Overclocked!
This cooler does a great job keeping my Raspberry Pi 5 temps in check, even when overclocking. The fan is efficient, and the aluminum heatsink helps dissipate heat really well. Installation was simple, and the build quality feels solid. If you're pushing your Pi to its limits, this is definitely worth it to keep things running cool and stable.

Fan DOA, Update
The replacement fan works as expected. The fan on my unit is very quiet (quieter than the RPi Active Cooler, IMO). Running stress tests now, and fully loaded, the cpu temp is holding at 57-60 C. I also have the AI Hat+ installed w/slightly longer standoffs (no physical interference with the cooler), and a taller gpio header. I'm monitoring fan speed w/"watch cat /sys/devices/platform/cooling_fan/hwmon/*/fan1_input" and with the 100% cpu load, the fan speed fluctuates between about 2500 and 4500 rpm. Mostly at 2500 w/short bursts at 4500. Almost inaudible, even at 4500 rpm. So all seems good for now. I'll keep an ear out for fan/bearing noise over time. Held back one star for the hassle of dealing with a DOA.Fan dead right out of the box. Didn't spin at startup init; didn't spin with high temp. I have 8 other RPi5's with a variety of fans, all of which work. Disappointing. Returning for replacement. We'll see how the next one does.

Ultra Clean & Effective Cooler
The is by far the best low profile active cooler for the Pi 5s I have used, and I have many different coolers for them. All of the I/O is accessible, save for the fan header which the cooler uses, of course, and all of the hot spots are cooled. Enough thermal pads are included in various sizes and thicknesses that you can put them on all the chips and even the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth RF shield. Just use the correct thicknesses so the tops are level and sit flat on the base of the cooler. My overclocked, 3GHz CPU/1GHz GPU Pi 5 16GB runs indefinitely stable and fully loaded on the CPU, GPU, and RAM simultaneously and only gets up into the mid to high 60s C when open to the air on the top side of the Pi, the bottom cover I'm using being in the Pi silicone rubber bumper butt. Ambient room temp is about 20 to 25 C.This is way more extreme than a normal working load would typically be, but the cooler is still able to easily handle it.See attached photos for a picture of it installed on this Pi and a screenshot of testing conditions and results.Highly recommended. Thanks, and happy Pi-ing.

Best Pi 5 active cooler
Love this cooler, it's my go-to solution for Pi5. Looks better than the Pi Foundation's version and has a quieter fan design. Fits nice and snugly to the PCB so the Pi still fits most cases and uses scenarios. I use a Geekworm X1001 NvME board atop this cooler - gave it a touch more room with some additional spacers to prevent blocking the fan intake. This setup works great and even under Stressberry 15min load my temps never go over about 67F

Production consistency issues. Thick V Thin
I've gotten several of these. The main issue is that you do not know what you are actually going to receive. First order was fine, the second order one was fine 5/16 and the other two were thicker 1/2 to the point that the POE hat with externders would not seat all the way down due to a cap hitting the top of the heat sync. One the other 7 the cap has a good 1/8" clearance.
