I first ordered bannetons on Amazon that appeared identical to these. They were from another seller, not Prime, but were less expensive, even with an added shipping fee. I knew there would be a wait for them, which I didn't love, but figured the savings might be worth it. Unfortunately, this other seller contacted me a few days later and asked me to cancel my order because they were low on stock. Funny thing, this seller was still offering them on Amazon at a higher price minus shipping fees, but still with a long wait. After canceling my order as they requested, I chose this Prime seller instead. I am very happy with these bannetons. They are top quality, they measure 7" exactly as stated, and were delivered the next day. I don't know why I would have thought I should put myself in a situation to wonder when delivery would be and if the quality would be acceptable just to save a few dollars. Prime is the best thing about Amazon. and these perfect little bannetons are a great example of Prime at its best.

I wanted smaller ones for smaller dough. I find these a good size for dough recipe 300-400g flour.

I’ve ordered these several times and always recommend to new sourdough bakers— the perfect size for 800 (+|-) loaf (which is about 1/2 of most standard recipe's so 2 of these are perfect ). Fits nicely with standard parchment paper and 5-6 quart Dutch oven.

Les paniers sont solides et de bonne qualité. Les recouvrement en lin sont biens aussi mais les coutures se défont facilement. J'ai du les recoudre à deux reprises.
