I thought I had enough food storage jars around the house but I just had to get this because of how customizable it is (and because of a sale).You get:• 1 large (tall) container• 3 medium containers• 2 small containers• Rotating baseThe jars are made of good glass. I bumped a few accidentally when washing them the first time and nothing broke. Each jar has two parts: the glass bottom, and the air-tight top lid. They all can stack on top of each other. The product photo shows the default stacking configuration, but you are free to make each column a different height (like I do). Obviously, you don't want to stack everything on one column or it could topple over.— FOOD STORAGE TIP —As with storing anything in a glass container, you want to make sure your food is kept away from bright light, and not put light-sensitive food in this.If you need a dark container to keep things sun-safe I recommend  Infinity Jars , they have a lot of sizes for that specific need. I also recommend labeling jars with  SuperChalks' Chalkboard Labels - 48 Pack , and a white out pen.— AIR-TIGHTNESS —The top has a rubber piece circling the inside that makes this airtight. With that kind of design, there is usually a tiny little hole in the rubber like there is here, which I presume is to help equalize pressure/temperature or something (?). So I'm not exactly sure how "air-tight" that makes it. Nothing seems to spill out when I shake it. I have not tested this for waterproof ability, but it's not advertised for that purpose.— NOTE —The one thing that bothers me, that doesn't detract from the overall quality, is that you cannot lift the jars by the top lid. You have to grab each jar by the glass. If you attempt to lift a jar by only the gray lid, the glass bottom will slide down from the weight of the contents, and will most likely shatter on your counter or the ground. So, I repeat: *only hold the jars by the glass, not the lid*.— SUMMARY —This is a very well-designed food storage set for those that need more counter space; the vertical stacking helps immensely in that regard. Joseph Joseph continues to delight and provide another kitchen must-have. Recommended.

Overall..I love Joseph Joseph products...they're thoughtfully functional and stylishly designed. This product is no exception, it was too tall for my cupboards, however it looks great on my countertop. I use it to store grains. The tops do not fit tightly but that does not concern me. I just love the feel of the containers in my hands.As a company Joseph Joseph's customer service sealed the deal for me. I contacted them regarding an issue that they were in no responsible for. They went beyond what was necessary to assist, in a minimum amount of time and email exchanges....extremely impressive!Will definitely continue to buy their products.

This storage unit work good but was a little big for the counter top. Good product, quality, but my counter space is limited and I thought it was smaller in photo. Over all nice storage unit.

I like this very much. I bought 3, 2 to give away for gifts. Very stylish and functional.

Very versatile and uses minimal space, just make sure to leave a little room for it to spin. I had it out on the corner in a corner and it worked very well. Now I have it on a fixed shelf in my pantry (at eye level) and works very well there too.

I love the look and utility, but the glass is very thin and not at all durable. Also, some of the lids don't fit snugly. They probably won't last long....

Not the best Joseph Joseph purchase. Ended up giving this away. Great concept, design, just the right size. My biggest issue is that the lids weren't that tight. Lids easily separated from container. Accidentally knocked one container over and everything just spilled out. If the lid is there to help keep food fresh, then it shouldn't separate from the container so easily.

Top quality carousel. Looks elegant & is extremely practical. Previously I'd kept everything in bags or old jars - hidden away in a kitchen cupboard. Now this looks extremely elegant in my kitchen (bought 2 of these & 2 of the the larger ones!). Have stored all my frequently used spices etc, knowing they are stored safely in air tight containers. the smaller set has easy slide labels. The whole unit swivels on its base, meaning youcan access any of the storage easily. I would recommend this product.

Con base girevole per arrivare anche ai barattoli del retro senza toglierli fuori tutti. Barattoli in vetro e tappo in plastica dura con guarnizione in silicone che sigilla bene l'ingresso d'aria dall'esterno.

Another good product from Joseph Joseph. The glass jars are different sizes which enables you to utilise them efficiently ie spices in the small jars and either cinnamon sticks or stock pots in the larger jars. You can label each jar and because they are glass you can see how much is left before replacing the contents. The stand is of a good size and can fit in a standard pull-out larder, cupboard or left out on display. Very happy with my purchase.
