Tie clip is made of a real circuit board piece approx. 2 1/8" x 3/8". It is covered with a clear resin, so the surface is as shiny as glass. Palladium plated supplies don't tarnish and change color.

I really like it. It is cool but it's hard to see what it is unless you are really close to it.
