Great Vitamins
These are great vitamins with much higher doses than other brands. I've been taking them for about 3 months now and feel a real difference in my sense of well being. One note though; they have made me feel nauseas more than some lower dose vitamins I've taken. I'm not sure if it's the higher dose or that it's in gel cap form. As with any vitamins DON'T take them on an empty stomach or after eating only something like yogurt or a piece of fruit. I've taken the time to write out the levels of each type of vitamin because that was something I wanted to know before purchasing. Please note they might occasionally change their formula but this is from the label of the vitamins I bought in late 2011: Vitamin A - 4000IU - 80% (from Beta Carotene) Vitamin A - 6000IU - 120% (from Retinyl palminate) Vitamin C - 150 mg - 250% (from ascorbic acid) Vitamin D - 400 IU - 100% (from cholecalciferol) Vitamin E - 100% IU - 333% (from d-alpha tocopheryl acid succinate) Thiamin - 25 mg - 1667% (from thiamin mononitrate) Riboflavin - 25 mg - 1471% Niacin - 100 mg - 500% (from niacinamide) Vitamin B6 - 1250% (from pyridoxine hydrochloride) Folic Acid - 800 mcg - 200% Vitamin B12 - 100 mcg - 1667% (from cynocobalamin) Biotin - 300 mcg - 100% Pantothenic Acid - 50 mg - 500% (from d-calcium pantothenate) Calcium - 25 mg - 3% (from calcium carbonate and calcium citrate) Iron - 10 mg - 56% (from carbonyl iron) Iodine - 150 mcg - 100% (from potassium iodine) Magnesium - 7.2 mg - 2% (from magnesium oxide and magnesium aspartate) Zinc - 15 mg - 100% (from zinc picolinate) Selenium - 200 mcg - 286% (from sodium selenate) Copper - 2 mg - 100% (from copper gluconate) Manganese - 5mg - 200% (from manganese gluconate) Chromium - 200 mcg - 167% (from chromium chloride) Molybdenum - 150 mcg - 200% (from sodium molybdate) Choline - 10 mg - + (from choline bitartrate) Inositol - 10 mg - + FloraGLO Lutein - 500 mct - + + = Daily Value (DV) not established Other ingredients: Gelatin, Purified Water, Alginic Acid, Croscarmellose Sodium, Potassium Citrate, Soy Lecithin, MCT, Magnesium Silicate, Vegetable Stearic Acid, Silica, Magnesium Stearate, Potassium Aspartate. 1 per day = recommended dose

Nothing beats these
I have been using the Daily One Caps with Iron for well over a decade now and have never been able to find anything close to how well these work. First off, the obvious benefit is that they are a Capsule and dissolve super fast and in no way am I attempting to be graphic, but there have been other companies Multi-Vits(tablets) I have taken where they have past right through without so much as been slightly absorbed(note: I have tried tablet multi-vits from Twin Labs and they have always fully dissolved, so I can attest that its not just a tablet thing). I never get an upset stomach while taking these caps even on an empty stomach, once again, I've had issues in the past with getting upset stomachs, if not even vomiting with some caps from other companies. Two things I always look for in a Multi-Vit is the variety of vits and minerals as well as the concentration of such and have been hard-pressed to find any other brand that matches the Twin Lab Daily Cap with Iron(just do a quick comparison for One Daily Caps and please while doing so make sure the label states it is for ONE cap and not three or something). I do understand more is not always better, but in my head I just figure it doesn't hurt to take a higher concentration if available...especially if I know what I'm taking is high quality. Twin Labs has always produced a high quality product that are produced in their own facility and does not have their products contracted out...everything Twin Lab manufactures is in its own state-of-the-art facility in Utah. They do produce these without Iron and there have been various studies out there that say you should not take Iron in a supplement, however, I personally have not found a downside to taking the ones with Iron and my family doc does have my blood tested once a year for just about everything including Iron(not sure why he does this, but happy he does:) and everything has been well within limits. I can honestly say I feel better when I take these(whether placebo-effect or reality I can't say for sure), but as long as its the truth for me I'm happy with it. I would say there is no reason not to try these, but I'm sure you will not be disappointed if you do!

Excellent Daily Supplement
After having beat cancer twice, my doctor suggested I take a multivitamin since my body doesn't process things like it used to. I was hesitant because I try to take as few medications as I can. If cancer hasn't killed me yet, I don't want the pharmaceutical company to be first. By trade I am a practicing ER/Trauma nurse with 20 years experience. I thought I knew my way around vitamins and minerals. Well, labdoor.com, proved me wrong. They provide excellent info on the supplements that the FDA doesn't regulate. First, and foremost, I only wanted 1 pill/capsule per day. I don't need 'superfoods' added in there. I just want the best vitamins and minerals that my body needs daily, nothing else. Second, I wanted my vitamins to be cost effective. Yes I know, you can get vitamins at Wall World and the dollar store for super cheap, but these don't test well. After much research my choice was these Twinlab capsules. I only need 1 capsule a day at a cost of only 15 cents/day for a premium product. The inert ingredients won't cause any issues either and the gel capsule will dissolve faster than a pill. It's also important to note that any vitamin or mineral supplement must be taken on a full stomach. They need to bind to something so they can be processed in the colon. A couple spoonfuls of yoghurt doesn't count. Take the after a good meal. Your body will absorb what it needs and get rid of the excess through the urine. Your pee will also turn a nice bright yellow. Very normal. All-in-all an excellent product from a top-notch company. I was very impressed with their lab facilities and how rigorous their lab controls are.

Best One-A-Day Vitamin
Many years ago, I did a lot of research trying to decide which multi-vitamin would be the best one for me, and chose TwinLab Daily One. I don't like taking pills since I have trouble swallowing them, so I ruled out any that needed to be taken more than once a day, even though it really is more beneficial to take vitamins in divided doses. My other requirements were: 1. Capsules, because they are fully assimilated in the body, unlike most pressed tablets that also require additional unwanted fillers. 2. Must contain at least minimally optimal amounts of the most beneficial vitamin/mineral/supplements. 3. Quality/Reputable Company. An MD (not affiliated with, or endorsing TwinLab) noted that TwinLab uses pharmaceutical quality ingredients and processing methods. I'm sorry I don't remember who it was (but it was in a book I was was reading about a specific health issue that this Dr. also experienced), but I thought I should mention it because it did influence my decision to purchase this. 3. Affordable Notes: 1. I usually get TwinLab Daily One Caps Multi-Vitamins and Multi-Minerals without Iron, Capsules, 180-Count Bottle and alternate them with these because I don't want to get too much iron, but I don't eat many iron-rich foods, so depending on my diet I take these a few times a week. 2. I do recommend and supplement these with 2x's/day Carlson Norwegian Cod Liver Oil Lemon 500ml for important Omega-3's and Chewable Calcium Citrate with Magnesium that I get from VitaCost. There are other supplements that I take, but I think these seem to be the most universally important to note. 3. If you don't mind taking them twice a day, TwinLab Daily Two Caps, with Iron, Capsules, 180 capsules or TwinLab Daily Two Caps, without Iron, Capsules, 180 capsules are a good choice. Bottom Line: If you are looking for a once-a-day multiple vitamin I recommend this one or the one without iron.

Solid Multi Without Pseudoscience
The best source of minerals and vitamins is food. But unfortunately today's food supply consists of staple foods like grains, soy, and legumes that contain phytic acid, which strongly inhibits mineral absorption. Livestock is fed corn rather than their evolutionary diets, leading to poor mineral content in meat. Produce may not be as mineral dense as it was decades ago. So it makes sense to supplement. This is a solid vitamin from what I can tell. It doesn't have herbs that have little to no controlled studies to prove their efficacy or characterize their side effects. It doesn't insult your intelligence by including a list of amino acids that compose complete proteins that you already are getting enough of. But it isn't perfect. Some improvements I'd like to see: 1. Bump the 400 IU of vitamin D to 5000 IU if vitamin D3. Studies within the last 5 years have shown that vitamin D3 is a pro-hormone needed to balance the immune system, and that because we live inside, wear clothes, etc we do not manufacture enough from sunlight. Studies show *correlation* (not proven causation) of vitamin D levels reducing the risk of cancer. Taking an evolutionary approach, look at the tight correlation of skin tone and UV index rays of native people. It suggests that vitamin D levels are an extremely important variable in natural selection so much so that it has occurred since humans have left Africa. 2. Replace vitamin K with vitamin K2. K2 is a form of vitamin K that your body can actually use. It comes from probiotic bacteria cultures that we don't get anymore. Fermented foods, raw milk, yogurt. 3. Up the magnesium, but in the form of magnesium citrate so you don't have a laxative side effect.

Only one pill instead of 4!
My doctor recommended this supplement. She had me taking several supplements: zinc, iron, Vitamin E, Vitamin C among others. Since I am taking the Daily One with Iron, I don't need to take so many pills. I also take extra Vitamin D (she checks my levels twice a year), calcium, magnesium, Twinlab Magnesium Caps, 400 mg, 200 Capsules (Pack of 3) and prescription fish oil (it may not be more free from toxins than the generic, I don't know, but I feel like it's "cleaner" because at least it is regulated by the FDA). I don't know if it's these vitamins or the Vitamin D Vitamin D-3 (1000IU) 180 sgels both, but since I have been taking these, I have not been sick. Not even a cold and that was 2 years ago. And if I go a period of time forgetting to take these I do feel a difference. My doctor recommended the Twin Lab brand because she said she had seen good results with her other patients, including those that have sensitivities to dyes and artificial sweeteners. *This is also available without the iron* ****Update 12/2012****I have changed the type of magnesium I take due to intestinal problems with the Twin Lab brand (or maybe just the dosage). The past 2 or 3 years I've been using Thorne magnesium citramate. It's a blend of citrate and malate, the latter is reported to be better absorbed. I also take the calcium ctitramate, neither contain stearates. As for the fish oil, my husband decided to try Sam's/Walmart brand of fish oil 1400 mg. I use NOW brand Omega 3 mini gelcaps as I was having difficulty swallowing the horse pills. I have had to increase my Vitamin D (NOW brand) over time to 9000 i.u. a day and finally have gotten my lab results up to around 70. Was stuck at 30 (too low) for the longest time. I continue to have my Vitamin D levels monitored annually. NOW brand makes a 5000 i.u. gelcap so I take one a day plus a 2000 i.u twice daily. The only thing I don't like about the Twin Lab Daily One is that if my stomach isn't full enough, I will get nauseous. When this happens, I eat several saltines and the nausea subsides immediately. I usually take with lunch since I eat a light breakfast.

Great product for price
These multi-vitamins are great, especially for the cost. I was looking for a vitamin to start taking that wasnt expensive and Centrum just makes my stomach hurt. When I found these I initially thought to myself that they were probably low quality because the label looks like its out of the 80's. But after thinking more about it, and having used a TwinLab product, Amino Fuel, for awhile I decided to go with them. TwinLabs makes pretty good quality stuff for the price it is sold at. After I started taking these for the first week or so I could definitely tell a difference in how I felt throughout the day. I just felt better, more awake and less lethargic. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a multi-vitamin.

HIGH QUALITY MULTIVITAMIN
I have been a fan of this multivitamin for years. It is available with or without iron. The advantages are: 1. Capsule not tablet, therefore no vitamin taste 2. Good formula 3. Unlike a number of consumer multivitamins, being a capsule, there is no carnauba wax used in the manufacture. Carnauba wax was/is a component of car waxes. The presence of this wax in many vitamin capsules raises questions regarding the absorbency of the vitamins and minerals in the tablet. It is a little more expensive then other brands, but I want to absorb the vitamins and minerals I am paying for.
