Easy to install, works as described. Can choose up-to 100 finger prints !! We just use finger prints of three members in our house and works completely fine. Only issue is the batteries drain fast. I didn’t see any usb C cable in the package but there is a port to use the cable. Makes sound every time we scan the finger and open the door. If there was an option to mute the sound it could have been better. Using it for bedroom and useful in many ways as this lock ensures no guests or strangers easily enters the bedroom just like that. Overall happy with it.

I purchased and installed this biometric lock and it worked okay for about 10 days.I say okay, because sometimes it would not read prints and I would need to rescan. Then, the past two days after finger scanning, the device would double beep- But I would still be able to enter. Then today it would not open. No lights & no beeping. I used the provided key to enter and changed batteries but no luck. The item beeps if you push the ‘always unlocked’ button ( but it stays locked) The item will not attempt to read prints any longer. There are no lights or sounds when trying to scan print.I’d also like to add that It was also somewhat difficult to install. Instructions were lacking info and also everything needs to be lined up and installed a specific way.It took me more try’s than I want to admit the first time and the effort was not worth it for a broken product.Update: today is day 20 since i installed my biometric door lock I have been using the provided key to enter since the print scanner stopped working ten days ago- however, today the key broke in half while still in the door. The key did not appear to be weak prior to it breaking in the lock. Half of the key simply flew from the door as I opened it. The other half of the key is still in the door but luckily is in the unlocked position so I am able to enter the room until I can change the lock.

The media could not be loaded. So far so good, highly recommend. I bought this in anticipation of having houseguests with small children. I must say though, I feel like I’m in a spy thriller (James Bond?) or some sci-fi novel entering some secret secured area every time I go into our bedroom. That’s the point of it though, it IS secured.It took me about an hour to install, but that was my own fault. The instructions clearly show that you need a door within a certain range of thickness and mine is a little thinner. Most of that hour was spent realizing I needed a shim and then making said shim. Otherwise the installation went smoothly. The packaging was well thought out and included EVERYTHING needed for installation and operation, including a handy screwdriver, batteries, and even a nifty ruler for measuring your door (perhaps if I used the ruler in the first place I wouldn’t have wasted time trying to install it without a shim).Programming is simple with the tool provided and it came with two keys In case of batteries dying (it warns you when batteries are getting low) or other issues (bandages on fingers?). It holds 100 fingerprints in memory, so my wife and I recorded numerous positions of fingers from both hands. While it took a little getting used to, it quickly became second nature. I expect we’ll probably get another one for our office soon.

It stopped working after 5 months. Something with the wires connection to the batteries. It was easy to install and good while it lasted. Except that before it completely stopped working it would unlock randomly and stay unlocked. I changed the batteries and it still didn’t work I even tested the new batteries to see if they work. Don’t waste your money.

Initially I thought these were really nice. We purchased 7 of them for our bedrooms, front door, garage door and back door. They worked well at first then my daughters door knob stopped reading finger prints. We figured it was just a flawed device and we were able to set it to permanent unlock and use the key if we did want to lock it. Oh well, right? Then the other day I was going out to the garage and when I turned the knob the handle just feels off (see pics). So now out of the 7 we are down to five in just a little over a month (so they can't be returned). Now I'm just waiting to see what happens with the other 5. I'm questioning my decision to buy these and put them on all of our doors. I wonder which one will go next?

I really wanted to like these locks, but unfortunately, one of them has already stopped working after two months. I ended up using one of these on my linen closet and one for the garage door so that I could get licensed for foster care. The one I used the most, the garage door, has stopped working after two months and now I just have to leave the key in it. The fingerprint reader won't recognize any fingers any more. Still trying to find a good, quality replacement.

After reading some of the reviews for this doorknob I was a little worried. After it was delivered and installed it I am extremely happy with it . We have a family member with dementia and a grandson that is autistic both love to go were ever when ever for no particular reason. This doorknob has solved all those problems in one swoop! The installation was pretty much like any other doorknob except you have to insert batteries. It was extremely EASY.. It also comes with Xtra hardware for different door thicknesses. No it doesn't connect to an app.,and I did not need that. It reads the registered fingerprint with eas. You can also set it to normal so you don't need a fingerprint with one push of the button and a press of a registered fingerprint. I love this doorknob! The price is great the color matched my existing electronic deadbolt nicely. Definitely recomend.

We installed these and they worked just find until yesterday, like some reviews it just wouldn't read the fingerprint. Is sad I bought 3 and 2 have literally stop working. Now I can even exchange the return window closed. Is disappointing since they were about $33 each so I paid over $100 money is going to the trash.
