Good quality ,dry ,no funky smell

I bought this product in order to help build the background of my terrarium. I used the Pete moss dirt to pack into the liquid silicone I put on the back of the tank. It came somewhat moist so I had to let it dry out first, but it ended up working out perfectly and creating a nice soft Texture for my moss to grow on! I ended up buying two more to finish the project! It’s the cleanest, Pete Moss I think I’ve ever bought!

This product was perfect for my project. A single bag did my 6in pot perfect. I didn't need to buy a bale or 10 quarts. It was better to spend the extra money for the smaller size than falling over a 2x3x4 foot bale of peat in the garage all winter,,,,,,,,,,

I needed a small amount of plain peat moss for a venus flytrap plant. This is the perfect amount. It was fairly pricey for the amount you get, though.

I had no idea these bags were so small. Likely will not purchase again
