Skywin VR Tripod Stand for HTC Vive Base Station - 2 Adjustable Stands

I'm a big fan of VR, so I have multiple VR setups to get the optimal playing experience across different platforms. I love my standalone headset, but I also wanted something that could take advantage of PCVR and get the very best tracking. In order to do that you need to have lighthouse tracking. I personally bought a valve index used for a decent price, but even at a good price, it's pricey. I wanted to minimize the extra costs for the lighthouse setup, but I wanted something that was easy to use/move around, can cover an entire space fully and also to feel confident that it wouldn't fall over and break my expensive purchase. After some research these seemed to have the best review to price ratio. They've been everything I wanted. They can get super tall and even go beyond the height of my ceiling, they're extremely adjustable to help you get the perfect coverage of the room for ideal tracking, and even when lifted up extremely high, the base is extremely adjustable to allow for maximum stability. I've been using these for a while now and haven't had a single issue. I very rarely have to move anything, but if I do they're light as a feather and super easy to breakdown or shrink. Strongly recommend this for anybody looking for lighthouse holders.

I've had six of these over the years, resold the other two before buying another set for unrelated reasons (I needed the money). These do the job, are cheap, easy to set up, and are often a highly sought-after addition to anyone's VR setup, especially for those who can't mount the Vive stations on walls.

A little wobbly and keeps falling over due to it being top heavy. I think this needs weights on the bottom, but other than that, great tripods! Easy to use ^^

small "footprint" *, extends to the top of my ceiling, sturdy materials, includes swivel mounts so bases are facing downwards i explored a few options before pulling the trigger on this one (including a ~10$ cheaper setup using amazon basics stands and bundled swivel mounts, several other tripod stands other than Skywin's, construction supports, adhesive alternatives) incredibly satisfied with this purchase and can't imagine a better way to setup your VIVE base stations. * (footprint) was worried about the diameter/width of the stands being too large -- was surprised to see they are only the size of a beach ball when fully-extended (when not fully-extended they are the ~ size of a grapefruit but you risk them tipping over if you were to bump into them...if you are seeking an even smaller footprint and they will be out of the way of a person/pet/roomba/idk, you could do so) (don't play VR with a roomba -- they aren't great at Beat Saber)

I was a bit nervous by some of the reviews but decided to get these anyways. Works great and no missing or broken parts. They are stable enough that I will never accidentally knock them over unless I really mess up. Easily installed on both of my base station 2.0s. They look nice enough. Fold up well for storage.

It is exactly what need before I end up moving out of my parents house. So I to screw any holes in a wall for my vr sensors, when I move to a rented house or apartment.

I did buy 2 good for 1.0 and 2.0 base station If you plase it wrong just move it no need for new holes in the wall

Fast postage, and easy to assemble. Tripods hold my HTC Vive tracking base stations very well, a useful add on accessory 10/10.
