When I first had the idea to purchase a Skype web camera I took the time to read a few reviews and I am very glad that I did because what others have written persuaded me to follow their lead.I am very pleased indeed with the little camera which looks like a well made object and certainly does what is was designed to do in that it is simply, ‘plug in and it works’. I was almost shocked by how simple it was. My son tells me that the picture quality at his end is excellent, even when I remove the camera from the computer to show something in the room or outside the window. My only complaint is that it fails to make me look like Brad Pitt but well, nothing is perfect I suppose.I am also very pleased with the company from whom I bought the charger because they delivered the thing in a well packed box and ahead of the published delivery time. What more can one hope for?If you are looking for one of these items please read the various posts and then purchase this excellent item. You will not be disappointed.

Needed a simple to use, good quality webcam for Skypeing the family - esp the new grandson. This has fitted the bill admirably - occasional loss of sound for no obvious reason, but easily fixed by turning the mike back on. Very pleased with it.

The positive side of this webcam is that it worked immediately with no fuss on my computer and the image was good quality. The downside as far as I am concerned is the lack of a clamp to attach it to anything and the camera swivels loosely on its base and so it keeps moving if the wire is disturbed.

Focus was not very good and also after about a month it stopped working with skype and it said my computer was a fault as it was too busy However the Audio part continued

Plugged it in-lights came on and recording my voice check went O.K. but when I tried to get a picture up of myself as a check, received a message stating "no web-cam attached " ! ! Have since returned the item, and hope by now to have received a refund to my B/Card account

This is a superb webcam. My previous one used separate microphone connections, and was very inconvenient, as well as not showing a particularly good picture. Looking for a new one, I read the reviews of this one, especially liking the "plug and play" aspect, altho' being prepared to be disappointed = but I was DELIGHTED!!! It really is simple, just plug it in and away you go. I spotted the little box with the increase/decrease slider in the lead when I took it out of the box and assumed it was the microphone, so slid it up to maximum, and plugged it in. I was bathed in extremely bright LED lighting!! ... and couldn't turn it off. It transpired that the slider in the lead is for the light, not the microphone.My email to the seller was answered within half an hour, by which time I had discovered how to turn down the lightThr quality of the picture and the sound when Skyping is first class.Brilliant product. Brilliant seller. Highly recommended

Bought to replace a lower resolution webcam that wouldn't work with linux. This works out of the box and is great. Good price too.

I had no intention of getting into Skype until contacted by my family; their computer already had all that was necessary whereas mine didn't. I looked on Amazon and compared products, reading reviews. I wanted something uncomplicated to set up - no discs which sometimes can be confusing. The Logicam Webcam was all that I could wish. One review said that the lead was a little short but I didn't find this and the picture from my screen was bright thanks to the lights - something that I hadn't considered in my search. All in all great value for money and in fact could I afford more I still would be more than satisfied. Not a technical review but this might be helpful to anyone looking for ease of instalment and a good result.
