Memphis PRX27 Power Reference Series 2.75" Full Range Speakers - Pair

These Memphis audio speaker are top notch. Crisp highs, clear mids. And good bass for their size.

After countless speakers, amps, tweeters, components speakers, etc I did a lot of research and decided to buy these tweeters for my mustang system. I have kicker cs series 6x8 components in the doors and 6.5 pioneer components in the back. I decided to swap out the pioneer tweeters in the back and keep the midrange/woofer. I also swapped out the pioneer capacitor crossover they gave and wired in the crossover that I received with these tweeters. Man was that a home run! So much more sound!!! Brighter sound. Less midrange and more top end! Definitely 100% worth the money for this set. It’s not only tweeters but they also throw in crossover boxes for the tweeters and woofers. So you can basically use your own woofers/midrange speakers. It’s a home run for the money!

Great replacement for the cheap junk that comes with the 2024 Camry. Nice quality sound. Not too much on the bass though, but that's ok though as the nice mid range and high range is good for non-bass songs. Got 6 of the Memphis in the car. all together, I'm impressed with the price point, they can't be beat!

Installed these into a 2009 Accord, rear deck speakers where bad when I got the car. I've used this brand in the past, never had an issue with them though I've really only had experience with their subwoofers. Car was factory everything, I could get volume out of the speakers but not much. Stock head unit is only about 15 watts per channel at most for this vehicle. Decided to buy a cheap amp, and a Kicker kisloc2 to use the factory speaker wire as a RCA source for the amp. Worked well, speakers sound much better for it, in fact it makes me want to replace the front speakers as well, however I'm not looking forward to the nightmare that is running speaker wire though the doors to connect them to the amp. I don't know how these would handle on a aftermarket headunit, but on my factory headunit they where very underpowered. I expected it to happen, but with all the reviews of it sound good with a factory setup I decided to give it a try. I can't recommend these for factory head units, will likely perform better on after market, but currently I have two wired as 2 ohm on a 100w channel for the amp I bought. They handle the power very well, and do not distort at any volume, tho the gain is set at it's lowest possible setting.

Reviews on these have been done to death, and the consensus is that they sound great. However, until I got my hands on them (5x7) I couldn't find an answer anywhere online about the adjustability of the tweeters. I ordered them thinking I may have to send them back, but I needed to see for myself. Sure enough, the tweeters can be angled in a full 360° axis, pointed any direction your setup may require. So, if you've been going nuts trying to find out, here you go. They sound great, too.

Fantastic purchase!! This was paired with a full set in the front of a ford fiesta and kept up fantastically with 2 12” subs. Highly recommend purchasing these!!

Used these speakers to replace midrange/tweeter in the door of a Toyota Tacoma and the fit was comparable. Did require minor modification but was well worth it. The sound was better than factor and I was able to add an amplifier to the installation and they held up to the new power.

Both speakers started buzzing after a month of installation. I do not plan on buying any more Memphis audio products since this is the 3rd pair of speakers that have failed from them after I’ve installed in my car.

nice looking speaker, easy to install, but after about 20 times using these, they are already done and the sound coming out of them is awful

Didn’t quite fit the Audi q7 4l front speakers.
