Nice mid century modern photos and information. Would have given the book 5 stars if the dimensions of the book were larger - a larger book would make it easier to read and view the photos.

Much more “mid century” than “modern”
Not a fan — definitely not a book reflecting what I think pop culture calls “modern mid century.” Will not find styles similar to what you would find on Pinterest searching the phrase.This book is much more about vintage pieces of furniture literally designed in the 30’s through 60’s, rather than modern pieces inspired by the character of that era which I think is what the typical millennial calls “mid century modern.”Probably 50% of the book is just “biographies” of furniture, rather than inspo photos of homes.

Great book for beginners
This is an excellent book. From the start it guides and educates you through the multiple styles in mid century design. The images and text are high quality. Interesting to read.I bought this book to help learn and identify pieces of vintage furniture on market place for my hobby to upcycle. I enjoyed it a lot and it explains how pieces were used.
