I bought class 6 and 7. They are both solid. Some say RD Sharma is the "Gold standard" of maths textbook. They are well presented and topics well covered. However, I note that RD Sharma caters more for their local Indian market more than overseas. For instance, currency in the exercises are in Indian rupees. It may be difficult for Australian students to relate to an exercise where it says, "One pencil costs Rs 160 and a box of pencils costs Rs 1,500." Whereas, a box of pencils in Australia costs only a few dollars.

When the book was delivered, it was in good condition. Though it took a bit time to deliver, but it was worth it. Pages were smooth and bright. Each and everything is well explained. But the main thing is, you have to practice it. Only buying it and just seeing the theories won't help you to get good grades.
