If it wasn't just a slightly nicer looking trash can, I would only rate 1 star... but at least it's nice looking. The compacting feature is useless and the spring-loaded plastic part that holds the compactor arms together broke and the replacement broke. This thing is a money pit. Shame on me for spending so much on a stupid trash can.

It works great and the lid is self closing.
Easy to assemble just 2 steps. I would buy again highly recommend. Just try for yourself, I know you will like it.

Size is very accommodating. Advertised perfectly
Trash can was purchased for my adult autistic grandson. He uses it daily and it has created a huge advantage for him. Finally he got one made for him. Very easy to use and lid closing is quiet.

Does not compact
This is a very expensive garbage can. It shows that it compacts it does not it does not smash nothing when you push the lever down all it does is twist the bag up. It’s terrible for the money returning it ASAP didn’t even use it a full day. This is some BS now I have to go buy a box to ship this back. Who in the right mind keeps a box from a garbage. Can I got it on Saturday and on Monday it went out in my garbage. I didn’t fill my garbage can up till now try to compact it and now it don’t work and now I gotta go buy a box. This is freaking ridiculous.

Trash can without bags
The can itself is great, excellent design, exactly what I wanted, the issue I have run into is finding bags, while they DO have some, they have only been in stock on the clear versions of the bags, and the cost of the clear version is 2x the cost of the gray version. I contacted them about this and they said it was a supply issue, it took 3 days to even get a reply. On top of that, they still don't have these bags in stock it's been an entire month.
