The picture quality is fantastic and the response time of the monitor is spot on. The HDR works well and the contrast beats many other brands for a much better price. Also comes with the required cables to set up whichever intended use you require.Build quality is good and doesn't feel cheap, the included speakers on the version I chose are great for monitor speakers too, they don't have that echo/tin sound you usually get. Very simple and versatile!Last but not least the customer support is fantastic, I had a few issues due to the courier service and they resolved them quickly. I’ve been using this UPERFECT 18” 144Hz gaming monitor since Christmas, and honestly, I’m extremely impressed. I was a bit unsure at first, having never heard of the brand, but it’s exceeded all expectations.The picture quality is fantastic, sharp, vibrant, and smooth. The refresh rate is excellent, and paired with my Xbox Series X, it performs flawlessly. Colours are rich, the image is crisp, and the motion handling is on par with (if not better than) my ASUS TUF monitor, which was a real surprise.The built-in speakers aren’t amazing, but that’s to be expected with a portable monitor, I use headphones anyway, so it’s more of a bonus feature than a main one. Another bonus is the VESA mount, which is something most monitors this size don’t include. It gave me more flexibility with how I wanted to set it up.The only downside is the menu navigation it’s not the most intuitive to use. But once you’ve set everything up, you won’t need to touch it much, so it’s a minor gripe.Overall, this monitor has delivered above and beyond. If you’re on the fence due to the brand name, don’t be. It’s an absolute gem for gaming and travel.

Strong build quality and very lightweight, it's easy to put in a backpack for its size and the cover doubles as a screen protector. I use it for the steam deck, as it can charge it though the screen meaning I only use one port. The screen quality is good to with sharp images. Only downside is the build in stand/cover as you have preset angles, and it means it sticks out with the unused part of the cover. Also no parts to hold onto a mount.But overall its really good, if you have your own stand its excellent.

I've always flirted with the idea of owning a portable monitor because I travel a lot and the idea of purchasing a laptop, which can be expensive for my needs, isn't something I was keen on.This portable monitor is really what you make of it and I can't emphasise this enough. I've coupled it with my Samsung to use DeX for completing most tasks nowadays, and because my S24 Ultra is already an extremely capable device, I've been able to seamlessly use the monitor to play games with a wireless controller and watch movies in stunning detail. You have a lot of menu settings to play with to make the display look the way you want it to. I personally find it bright enough for my usage.As I said, it is what you make of it. So if I need that extra horsepower and versatility I simply swap out my phone for my Mini-ITX build, connect my peripherals through a USB dock, and get to work. Being able to use my power bank for short sessions is also a huge plus. I've found that my fully charged 30,000 mAh power bank is enough to play 3 GoT episodes (the superior metric, I know).Personally, I've never used the VESA mount but I love that it exists because it gives more creativity to the user. The magnetic cover is a nice touch too. Especially because I place everything in a portable bag for my plugs, wires, peripherals, Mini-ITX that I built, etc. It makes it easier to keep it safe!Overall, I'm incredibly chuffed. My first experience with portable monitors has been such a lovely experience thanks to this bad boy. Even when I had an issue with the display, UPERFECT's customer service told me to send it back so they could send me a brand new replacement with no hesitation and free of charge!I know this reads like a paid review but in a time where enshittification wreaks havoc on consumer I just have to tip my hat to companies that give a toss about their consumer. I'll never get my OG Toblerones back or a Freddo that isn't 1/10th of the hourly minimum wage here in the UK, but at least I have this 🥺

This was the only 18 inch monitor I could find in 2K resolution. You pay more, but it's worth it-it has a lovely detailed bright picture. It also has a 16.10 aspect ratio (compared to 16:9), with greater estate for working productivity. It is also relatively lightweight given its size, for portability- much lighter than another 18.5 inch monitor I have.Because of it’s large size and resolution, it needs an external power supply, without which it cannot go up to maximum brightness, and can flicker.I did not want to have two power cables-one to the laptop and another to the monitor. I found an easy workaround - which is to use a 65w laptop charger to connect the USB-C power cable to the monitor. This then provides charge to the laptop directly via the USB-C cable that connects the monitor to the laptop. That way the picture remains bright, and the setup requires only one power cable to the monitor and one usb-c cable between the laptop and monitor.I want to also give credit to the excellent Uperfect customer services when I had a question about the monitor-Anna was quick to respond to my queries courteously and promptly.
