I didn't have any issues using this mic for an interview setting with my iphone as the camera. The normal mic I use is the Rode wireless go but the kit I have only has a single mic while this kit has 2 so I use this one for interviews and the Rode for solo filming. Versus the rode the Boya kit sounds a little tinny so I have to clean that up in post. Overall this is a budget performing mic packed with a ton of features, a fair buy overall.

Well I have had much time to use this external mic setup. I am still using it and will never go without it.Super simple to use, and the range has never let me down. Sound quality is awesome and very clear.I totally recommend this external mic, it's totally worth the expense!
