5 star product but not a bolt-on only install
As a product, I gave this bumper five stars. It looks good, fits tightly, seems sturdy, and is well priced. There are things you should know about the install, though. Apparently, more work is required with newer FJ's. I can tell you, with a 2012 FJ, you will be cutting light brackets, "reshaping" a condenser line, drilling 4 holes in the vehicle frame, trimming the front fender well liners, removing and reinstalling the washer fluid reservoir, and if you use the compatible Smittybuilt 9500lb winch, coming up with an alternative mounting point for the solenoid. The latter may be the case for many winches--the bumper fits the FJ very well but, as a result, winch space is tight. The instructions can be tough to follow as they call out part names without a diagram and with limited, small photos. They are well written otherwise. The only non-install related complaint I have so far is that the d-ring mounting points do not quite fit 3/4" shackles.I'm including pictures of the condenser line with the former mount removed, the bracket to be cut under the light, where you'll be drilling into the frame, and an after photo. The after includes the optional Warrior Products 3516 Skid Plate skid plate. Get 3516 for 2010 and later; Warrior Products 3515 Bumper Skid Plate for 2009 and earlier.

Price Warrior!
This is a well built and sturdy bumper. I was kinda hesitant to purchase due to the price. All the other bumpers I looked at were twice the price. Fit well, shipped on time, easy install and a great price. It is not super heavy, only 94lbs. It didn't even bring down the front at all. Im sure it will once I add a winch. The only two things that I don't like is the bars that go in front of the turn signals, but I've gotten used to them. Then the skid plate, which is sold separate, does not replace the stock one. It mounts to the bumper and then to the stock plate. I'd like to see them make one large plate. I haven't added a winch yet, so I can't comment on that. Everybody likes the look of it and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

A must buy for your FJ!
This bumper was a great add to my 07 FJ Cruiser. After having replaced my original plastic bumper once, then encountering a deer, thought it was time for this upgrade. The price was around $900 from Everything Aftermarket so I snatched it up and glad I did bc now it is over $1000!Still worth getting as its one of the best looking bumpers out there.I also bought the skidplate which I've yet to install. I will put a winch on when I have the funds to do so.The bumper looks fantastic and is extremely solid. Its a two person install for sure. You will find that you've got to cut into the metal headlight supports out for the bumper, and for the winch you'll need to cut out another piece. I cringed at modifying the truck, no going back! but it was easy w an $11 grinder plus cutoff disc from Harbor Freight. The harder part was trying to figure out what needed to be removed from the front by the lights as the instructions are sparse. If you buy the skid plate, install it before you put the bumper on bc there is no room to ratchet bolts otherwise. The plastic wheel covers underneath will hang down and you'll need to figure out what to do. The Warrior instructions give a general idea what to do, but its a bit of an art to get them cut to the length where they can tuck up nicely over the original little wings that stick out after the install.Once you get it right it looks almost factory the way the plastic wraps around these wings. I put a little vinyl restorer on these to clean them up and it looks awesome. The bumper arrived with box intact (unlike some who have received banged up). However there was a part of the bumper where the box wasn't reinforced and the paint wore down. Warrior has excellent customer service. They sent me a can of powder coat to make it right. You might want to use that to spray some of the towing hooks and under carriage to blend w the bumper. The truck now sits about 1-1.25" lower, which you'll likely notice. So I'm in process of figuring out what to do about that ... likely will get a 1.5" lift kit for the front. I don't really want to turn it into a jacked up truck, just bring it back to original height.Anyways ... buy this bumper you'll be very happy!

Installed this on my 2014 FJ Cruiser
I got this in and it's definitely heavy gauge steel. I also installed a Smittybuilt winch...which didn't fit too well. I had to cut into the front grill, but if you don't mind that....the combination works just great. If I had another chance...I'd likely go with a different winch to keep from cutting the grill. As for the bumper....It installed pretty easy enough...once I got the front of the FJ all prepped. I removed the plastic bumper and then the steel bumper and any other brackets that were no longer needed or in the way. I did have to cut the center bracket, but that was a given from the instructions. If you go about installing this, be sure to get the winch all wired up on the winch side and then mount the winch to the bumper to the FJ. I had to pull the bumper off twice to get at some wire and then again to get it in place. I also replaced the winch cable with synthetic...which was a little bit of a pain to get to the bolt holding the cable in place...but once I did, it went in just great.

Nice Product, Poor Instructions
Solid bumper, nice finish and nice fit. Instructions could be a lot better...references many obscure brackets and parts with no idea what they are talking about so it'll add to your trial/error fittings before the final bolt down.
