The vacuum is strong and helps tremendously with the reducing the mess. Totally worth the value.Only 2 criticisms: 1) I don't always need the vacuum on, so having a switch to turn that feature on and off would be helpful. 2) It is a bit bulky, so it can be difficult to get the smaller, tighter areas.I also had an issue with the battery soon after I purchased my first one. I contacted the vendor for support. Olivia helped me acquire a brand new replacement trimmer at no cost to me. Their communication and resolution was clear and prompt making me a happy customer again.

I've got a wiry, stiff grey beard that I let grow long until I can't stand it and then cut it back to a goatee. Whenever I cut significant lengths of it with my old cutter, the hairs would go everywhere and could clog the sink or get caught in the trap. Well, the combs wore out and wouldn't hold position, so I started looking for a new trimmer.This one caught my eye and I'm glad I got it! The combs are sturdy and the dial is unlikely to wear out as fast as my cheapie combs did. The vacuum is the real bonus here. Very few hairs escaped the vacuum, even on low setting, so there was almost no cleanup! The trim was accurate, though it did take a couple of passes for the longest cuts. (Even your barber does that) I can't say anything about battery life or longevity, but it looks well-built and the first cutting session barely made a dent in the battery level as shipped. It didn't require charging before first use!I highly recommend this cutter!

To start off this is replacing a Remington with similar features and this product is far superior in every way. From the actual cutting to the vacuum function. Only issue I had is the charging but that’s a safety feature within the product where if you use an adapter with too much power it stays off to protect itself.Before i figured this out I reached out to customer service and they are incredibly responsive and super helpful. Would not hesitate buying again.
