Loving these buds. Quite comfortable--I wouldn't work out with them, but for music listening they're great.Have pretty eclectic music taste including EDM, classical, blues/rock, etc, and the Operas handle everything capably.Not the most neutral tuning, but it's colorful and really well done... where you can achieve absolutely jaw-rattling, clean bass rumble across the range of bottom frequencies. Nice midrange; and upper mids and treble are clear and crisp without being sibilant. If you step up the bass in the app it can become a bit fatiguing, but it's adjustable. If you like EDM a la Boris Brejcha, these are the buds you're looking for.Main gripes:1) Maxed out volume is too low for my tastes. This would only become an issue in a noisy environment.2) iPhone app doesn't have 3D or spatial audio3) I find myself adjusting them pretty often to keep a good seal. Will be looking for some replacement foam tips4) The Soundpeats app comes with some presets, and there's a simple equalizer. But the app is primitive. It could really use a 10-band equalizer so that you don't need to listen to music exclusively through a third party EQ app. With the exception of bluetooth apps that pair earbuds, Apple's ecosystem prevents us from using other third party apps to universally control audio.I became a fan of spacial audio after buying a pair of Soundcore Liberty 4 NCs. It's a game changer as far as I'm concerned. Makes music immersive and rich. Despite its absence on the Operas, I've been able to tweak my iPhone's JetAudio DSP music player to get somewhere in the ballpark.Re the volume issue, I've overcome it by boosting the preamp on a 10-channel parametric equalizer in JetAudio--which does the trick. The Opera 05 really shines when paired with JetAudio add-ons. Word of advice for fellow non-audiophiles. The quality of the audio source plays the biggest role in how these--or any other--buds perform. Since I don't stream Apple Lossless, basically stuck with AAC... but JetAudio is a savior. Highly recommended.The ANC on the 5s is decent, but you get pretty good noise isolation from the in-ear tips. Not quite as much as wired IEMs like my Dunu/Fiiio EX1s, but pretty close, and much better than the Liberty 4s. So far, battery life has been great. Haven't tried using the mic since I bought these exclusively for music.Overall, I think the 05s are a great value and the lack of spatial audio DSP notwithstanding, I can't really imagine anything else sounding much better than these buds. Really happy with them. So nice not having to wear wired Grado headphones and IEMs anymore!Get these buds.

I hesitated to get these because they look so big and I read other reviews, but I have very small ears and they fit me perfectly. The sound is amazing with deep bass and crystal clear clarity. Call are good in a quiet room. The mics are very sensitive and will pick up the tv audio is it’s on, but I was still heard just fine. I wore these for over 2 hours the day they arrived with no discomfort and the transparency is plenty good too. I wish I wouldn’t have waited as I am very impressed with this product and that’s saying something as I also have the Bose QCii and am not impressed with them at all. Great job Soundpeats. This is my first product from Soundpeats and I am definitely a fan now.

I've been waiting for the price to drop on the Soundpeats Opera 5s and finally bought it at a good price. I watched numerous reviews on the product and was convinced that the sound quality from the buds is excellent. Since sound quality is paramount for me, I value that over any of the other features.I was OK with the sound right out of the box with the medium ear tips. It was very clear but the bass was lacking. I put on the large tips, got a much better seal, and was amazed. This is the best sounding earbuds I have ever heard. Great bass and balanced sound. I have the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pros, the Soundpeats Engine 4s, and the Soundpeats Air 4 Pros and this beats all of them. I highly recommend these for sound quality assuming you can get a good fit with the tips. They are large and the other features are not best in class, but for sound quality are second to none.
