AP Precalculus Premium, 2025: Prep Book with 3 Practice Tests + Comprehensive Review + Online Practice (Barron's AP Prep)

I have taught precalculus for years, but we just switched to AP this past year. I had a lot of online resources available to me, but had some struggles presenting topics I hadn't taught before in ways the students could quickly grasp with the rushed timeline of AP prep. I bought this book late in year, and it helped immensely. I just wish I'd had it all year long and will definitely be using it to refine my approach next year.

Too early to determine if useful or not. Not sure why study books are not reviewed for accuracy before publishing. Makes it more difficult and harmful to the student learning. Correct answers should be published, by the author, when discovered.Will have to double check all questions and answers for verification.

Just as described, daughter is thrilled

Since this is the first year that the AP Pre-Calculus exam is being taught and tested, I'm so glad that there is already a prep book available on the market. This one is really thorough and has a lot of practice problems and guides for things that are pretty new to the AP curriculum. Glad it's priced fairly and on the same scale as the other books instead of being marked way up since its new!

As a current AP PreCal teacher, I say DON’T buy this if you’re looking to study for the AP PreCal test. I’m extremely disappointed in this 2025 version. I could understand why the 2024 version’s FRQs didn’t match with the actual test because they published before College Board released their practice test. This time there’s no excuse. They did not update their format for the practice tests. What is the point of writing practice tests that don’t follow the format for the actual AP test?? The multiple choice questions looked ok, but there’s no point to tell my students to buy this and then only use part of the practice test. There are other (although few) resources out there that at least offer students a look at what the actual test will be like. I’ll be returning this.
