Black Cap Toe Flat Comfortable in Wide Width
I wish Vivaia would offer more shoes in wide. This black cap toe and beige flat is a classic take on the Chanel shoe but way more comfortable than other cap toe flats I’ve tried and in the Margot 2.0 size 42 wide perfect for my 10.5 wide foot. The front is wider while the heel is still narrow enough not to flop up and down on my foot as some wide shoes have heels that are too wide for me. The throat of the shoe does NOT cut into the top of my foot, the memory foam foot bed and padded heel mean no rubbing and I can wear these to go shopping of all day at the office. I own pair of Margot shoes but trashed the non wide with pair. I’d love to get some Aria 2.0 pointy toe flats but they are not available in wide and cut into top of my thick foot at the throat.

Great Flats.
Great shoes. This is my second pair of Vivaia shoes. I bought a pair of their ankle boots last October which I love. For these shoes , I was looking for a summer flat. Love the material and the way they fit. Very comfortable. True to size.

Not what I hoped they would be
This brand is all over social media. I decided to try them via Amazon because I knew I could get them faster as well as return them faster if necessary (for my refund) than if I ordered them directly from the company. These arrived very quickly via Prime, actually, a day earlier than expected. Packaging for the shoes themselves (box, inserts, et al) is very nice and just like you see in the ads on social media. The shoes themselves look just like the images and ad campaigns but were not as soft as I hoped they would be. I was very surprised at how stiff the knit fabric actually was. (I'd bought a pair of knit shoes like this from Amazon for a quarter of the price for my daughter a year ago and those shoes were very soft and stretchy in comparison.)I also didn't think these shoes were that comfortable, either. The foot liner is padded and there is a heel pad, but it wasn't as cushy as all they hype around it. They felt "off" when I walked around in them, and I felt like they amplified the hardness in my tile floors as I tried them in my house. I can't imagine wearing them for travel where there would be a lot of walking around. Finally, I actually didn't like how the shoe looked and felt on my feet, either. I have one ankle that pronates in and the shoe gapped a bit in several spots and didn't fit as close as I hoped it would with this material.Lastly, the sizing on this brand is weird to figure out as it relates to your feet and any foot issues you may have. That there is a size 9, 9 W, 9/9.5, and 9.5 makes for a very confusing choice and the actual brand website doesn't make their size chart and recommendations any easier to navigate, either. Your best bet is to order a couple sizes from an Amazon where you can get them faster and return them easier.Yes, I returned mine.

Don’t buy
They don’t fit like other Vivaia shows. Very widein the middle and longer, but the toe box was narrower. very weird! And I bought three pairs and they came in a beat up old bag, so I had to pay the UPS store for a box to ship them back in!

Comfortable flats with support
I'm glad I finally tried this brand. I needed black flats that are comfortable with some arch support. These are perfect for my needs. I can wear them all day and walk distances. They have a squared off toe, which makes them more comfortable than the pointed shoes that I have. And they are lightweight and washable! I will buy this brand again.
