Handrail End Cap, 4PCS 45mm/1.77" 201 Stainless Steel Round Handrail End Caps Staircase Steps Hand Rail End Cover Handrail Fittings (Black)

These are more like plastic than steel. They fit the rails properly and look nice but they catch on my hands. The screws also stick out proud of the caps and can be seen. Cheap and cheerful. If I had seen any other, more expensive ones in black then I wouldn't have bought these. I will keep looking and replace them. Waste of money and cost of handyman's time.
