BS-MALL Makeup Brush Set 14 PCS Purple

I was hoping that the picture and description would somehow match up when I received them. However, it does not, and unfortunately it looks like the picture. They are a black and tan mix between lightning, giraffe, and marble type pattern. The tan is also inconsistent as it's whiter on some brushes.The brushes themselves seem okay. Right now the price is $9.99, so I do think for that price this is a pretty decent set. It is about a half inch or 2 cm shorter than normal makeup brushes. The handlers are slightly chunkier as well which can actually be better ergonomically. There are a few bristles on one of the brushes that weren't cut correctly, but that could be a fluke. I do really like they call halo dye brush. I'm not sure what that means, but I haven't seen a slanted brush with that diameter before. I am going to keep that one and most likely donate the others to someone whom doesn't mind the pattern.If they stopped saying they were purple, which I waited over two months for them to have a chance to update (they did not); I would give it 4 stars instead of 3. As there are so many makeup brushes out there these days, aesthetics do play a part in deciding which ones to purchase.

I have not worn heavy makeup since 2016. My current look is generally "mostly natural but better." Brushes do make life easier and I own a good amount, which include high end down to the very cheap. Cheap brushes often perform just as well (or close) to their high end counterparts.I was curious about this brush set because it contains multiple brushes I do not own - and also has many great contour brushes. I rely on good and natural contour and really enjoy chiseling myself out.These brushes are great for what they are - a variety of inexpensive synthetic brushes. They are not designer brushes but they get the job done and quite well so. They are very soft. The blending brushes are very fluffy. The contour brushes are great. I really enjoyed contouring my nose, temples, cheekbones and chin. I enjoyed the big fluffy brushes for my illuminating powder application. Also, they clean well, both after and in-between application. They do not come in a case - just a shiny ziploc bag, so you will have to improvise with a case. I like the handles - they have a "cracked" paint 3D effect to them. It makes them more pleasant and secure to hold (although I generally do not choose brushes based on their handle design).Basically, these will get the job done well and you do not have to spend a ton of money to get a good result.If you are a pro makeup artist doing editorial work, you'll definitely need something fancier but if you are not a pro and your entire makeup routine takes less than 15 minutes, get these.

These are very nice makeup brushes. I'm not sure why this says purple as these are not purple at all and don't even look purple in the picture. They do have a crackle type appearance to them and they look really neat actually. These are soft and work well. There are multiple brushes in this pack which is really great and they pretty much cover all your bases makeup wise. I did have some of the bristles come off, but it wasn't too bad and they blended well and worked well with my makeup.

This would be good for beginners. I got this for my teen who is just starting out with makeup and is really into doing her whole face. These work well for her, and are good for her to learn how to apply different products. They are soft, but not the softest I've used. The design is not very cute in person, and I would not buy them with this design again.

These arrived fast and undamaged. These are really nice brushes. I’m not going to pretend to be an expert in makeup brushes but my wife loves them and I have painted most of my adult life so I can say that in my opinion as a brush these are really well made and good quality. All of the handles are solidly glued in as well as all the bristles. Each brush was individually wrapped and all of the brushes were mostly perfect (a couple may have slightly askew handles but I’m just being nit picky really). The handles on this seem more black to me than purple and there’s even a slight hint of green but they actually look really nice and that crackle pattern isn’t a sticker or paint it’s a legit crackle finish that’s been nicely sanded and sealed so it gives them a nice texture, an argument could be made that it actually helps with grip but it’s not like grip tape or anything just not smooth and not as easy to slip if that makes sense. The bristles are all soft and shaped well with no longer untrimmed bristles or anything. You could easily pay drastically more for brushes this quality, easily. These brushes look great are built well and you can save some cash. Myself and my wife agree these are well worth the money. She loves them.

This is a decent set of make up brushes. The product listing advertises this as being purple, but it’s really more black with gold flex. The handles are not very comfortable in the hand and feel kind of worn. The brush heads are nice and really don’t seem to shed a lot of bristles. Overall, this is a decent set of make up brushes, but I would look for more a more quality set for adults or people who are serious about their makeup. This is definitely a cheaper set and would probably be best for teens or kids who want their own makeup brush set.

These brushes are super soft and good quality. Very fair price. Work well, I recommend them.

These brushes do the job."Color" states purple but they're black with a chipped paint look.The handle does actually feel like a worn chipped brush, I thought it was just a design wrap.With that being said if you want the look and feel of worn used brushes these are for you.
