I was skeptical at first after seeing some of the negative reviews, but after using Kini for a couple of months, I can confidently say it does exactly what it promises. This is NOT a camera, and it’s not meant to be—it’s a motion sensor that alerts you the moment something moves. For my needs, that’s perfect. I don’t want a camera constantly recording or needing cloud storage; I just want an instant notification if something I care about has been accessed.Addressing Concerns:“Crappy?" No way. It’s compact, discreet, and built for function. It’s not a heavy metal device, but it doesn’t need to be."Too many false positives"? Not in my experience. Sensitivity settings require some tweaking (like any motion sensor), but once dialed in, it’s very reliable. If you expect it to behave like a camera, you might misunderstand how it works."No support"? That’s simply not true. The company has been incredibly responsive, answering questions, even on the weekend!Final Verdict:If you need instant alerts without the hassle of cameras, apps, or subscriptions, Kini is a solid choice. I love my Kini SafeAlert! It's easy to set up and I receive the motion alerts to my phone quickly. What's also really cool about it is that there's no subscription. So you just set it up and can use it forever. Awesome product!

Value for money...nope, get a camera. Quality...Janky, like a $2 piece of plastic with an accelerometer in it. Motion detection...DON'T GET ME STARTED! FALSE POSITIVES LIKE CRAZY! Sensitivity is either TOO HIGH or TOO LOW, I've tried so many combinations...absolutely terrible product. Rather get a Ring camera to install just in the side of a wall, not even a door. At least then I'd have some accuracy and FOOTAGE to back it up! SERIOUSLY...just save up and get a camera. Terrible TERRIBLE Product.

Really cool product. I used to use a large brand item that I paid more than double for and it always malfunctioned. This one is really easy to setup and no ap or download required. It just alerts you as a text. Also comes with a nice charger so the battery won’t run out.

This is such a great way to know if anyone is getting into things I don’t want them to. I’ve been using it in drawers to keep my valuables safe and it works perfectly.Setup was easy and the texts come through quickly…overall I’m very happy with my purchase.

Works great. There are a few changes that I would make though.The body design should have a wider base. I have velcroed to my gun safe door, but I worry that it’s going to fall because it’s just a small piece of Velcro. If the base was wide and provided more surface area, I would have no concerns.It should have an audible alarm option to deter anyone who has triggered it.Otherwise this thing has been great!

Wonderful and useful. Can't go on enough about these things. Relatively inexpensive and extremely quick notifications. Use to protect valuable and/or hazardous items. Had a question for Customer Service and got a response the same freakin day! Highly unusual in today's e-world.

My experience with Kinis so far (I now have 4 running):It hits a sweet spot for keeping an eye on valuables that I don’t want to (or can’t) cover using a camera. Kind of like an additional inner layer in my security onion.The sensors are sturdy, and work without any issues. A light blinks when they’re triggered, and I get a text message a few seconds after the motion.I mostly use them as a visual cue, along with signage, to let others know that private spaces are monitored and off-limits. But I also have one that’s tucked away to let me know if there’s any snooping going on. Knock on wood, this hasn’t happened yet- but I like knowing that I’ll get a text if it does.Set up is easy and I’ve had no issues with continuity of coverage. I did have a question about changing networks and support was very responsive and helpful.Highly recommend!
