Can someone please give me the exact dimensions of the basket and confirm that this will fit in a 300mm wide unit. ?

This basket is designed to fit a carcase of 300mm EXTERNAL width. The basket itself is less than 300mm and has a small amount of adjustment to fit most relevant internal spaces. Unless you have an unusual space, this should be fine.

What bar at side of basket connect to runners

I clipped the basket on the bar underneath the top bar on both sides

Will the 300mm unit fit in a gap of 262mm

Yes the runners can adjust to make up the internal space between 260-270mm

How does it attach to your cupboard?

The runners are screwed to the cupboard with the screws provided,the basket is clipped in afterwards

Arrived with fittings different from the paking list, in the wrong box. Instructions are basic beyond belief. The soft close mechanism fouls the cupboard door and will not extend fully, and it is only suitable for 18mm carcasses: apart from that, it's a heavy duty job, but unfortunately not cutting the mustard for me. The Hafele system at least caters for all available caecasss thicknesses.is better in these respects.
