Casting is smooth and the drag sounds wonderful!
I bought this reel for a light weight set up and paired it with an Okuma Celilo for trout and steelhead. This set up feels great! The reel has an excellent drag system that sounds wonderful and rivals some of the more expensive reels. For the money, this is a great reel and great value. The color is beautiful and eye catching in a classy way. It’s not loud and obnoxious like some of the brands out there. I’d highly recommend this reel if you are stepping up from the basic ugly stick combo to something a little nicer. Although I’m not knocking ugly sticks, I still have 2 of those that I fish on the regular. Try it out and you won’t be disappointed!

Smooth action
Have several of these reels for freshwater use. 1500 to 3000 sizes. They have all performed as expected, and really have no issues with any of them. Good bang for the buck, in my opinion.

It’s a good starter feel
I just recently got back into fishing. This is a good reel with a spinning rod. I did however upgrade to a baitcaster. Smooth casting and size.

Revros is the best reel under 100$
The revros is perfect. I've bought several cheap sub 50$ spinning reels this season and most of them already feel sloppy or no longer smooth. I have revros spinning reels that are 3 seasons old and still working perfectly. I recently just purchased another to slowly replace all my other reels with these revros. I own the 2500 and the 3000 size and they are all great for fishhing jig head minnows for bass and have landed several hybrid bass in the 8 to 9lb range on my 2500 size. Ultra smooth drag and never get sticky or grindy. Stop buying 20 30 and 40$ spinning reels and just get a revros u can keep running smooth for years.

very sturdy for lightweight reel
Have caught numerous large redfish, black drum, and snook on this little reel. Has held up well.
