For the price, this item has worked extremely well for our needs. We recently had to move my 88 yo mother into our home due to a fall and declining health. We have a large home and she stays in our lower level, so I had concerns that I may not hear her if she needed help - especially at night. I also use it if I need to leave her alone in the house for a short time - she can press the button and it will send a notification to my phone. It does NOT provide for any voice communication - only to notify me she needs help. This allows for me to either call her, return home, or call 911 if needed. I was able to send an invitation to share the app to other family members as well - so they also are notified. I created a group text thread for my daughter and 2 sisters who sometimes help with her care. We use the thread to communicate if there is an alert and how it’s being addressed. The app is very simple to use - the primary user creates the account and shares the account login with the other users. We test this every few weeks to make sure the app is working properly. We do get a few false alerts occasionally if she presses by accident. Not a big deal. Our home is quite large and we have no problem with range from pendant to receiver.PROS: affordable, alerts to cell phone, don’t need landline - just WiFi and your normal cell service to receive alerts, can share to multiple users, audible alerts to a receiver in the home that can be moved easily to other rooms, pendants are light and easy to wear, pendants use batteries and don’t need charging. Range is very good.CONS: Will not detect falls, no voice communication on alert, will not alert EMS, expect a few accidental alerts.

Great item. Best if you spend the $11 to get phone notifications. I have great peace of mind knowing that my hubby can get me ANYTIME. He wears his watch 24/7. This purchase was an second purchase.

Getting the paid subscription setup to receive phone calls and texts was a nightmare. Ended up canceling and just going with app notifications on the free version. Works without being connected to the same internet as the device.

Could not make it work, noCustomer Service! Purchased the year program and they billed my AX card 3 times! for $39,$49 and another $39. I’m disputing it by now. Returned to Amazon.

The best thing we have bought for my grand parents. My nanny was unresponsive and papa hit his watch button and while one was on the way to check the other was calling 911.She's doing well and back home now.

The watch does not work at all. But this trap button works and that's what I've been using instead. I guess it gets the job done. I like the capability of hooking it up to the phone.

We purchased this for our elderly mother in-law. She lives in the basement apartment of my sons home. She has started having balance issues and has fallen a couple of times. She wears this around her neck and can press the button for help if needed. Sends an alarm to the unit in my son's home and will page their phone if they are away from home. Great product, easy setup no monthly monitoring fee. They also make one that can be worn as a watch. My brother purchased that one for my 90 year old Dad.

This is such a helpful thing for my mom who falls. She didn't want something that would contact emergency services, so it's perfect. And I love that I can get texts when I'm out of the house. There is no monthly fee but there is a yearly fee to get texts. It's a great product if someone has a caregiver! It had a lot of steps to set up but once it's up and running you don't have to mess with it anymore.
