Read reviews before ordering
Lightweight with decent arch support; these do need a gradual breaking in however. The straps can be adjusted for better fit and comfort, though wide feet may find them too narrow. They are true to size BUT as others have mentioned they are listed incorrectly. These are women’s sandals so order your normal size. I have included a photo for proof.Chacos have been recommended for lasting a long time so I intend to get my use out of them. They’re stylish enough to wear with almost anything and great for travel.

Great shoe for a fantastic price
The media could not be loaded. I wore these shoes for an entire week hiking and swimming all around Tahiti. They fit comfortably and true to size. They stood up to climbing mountains, swimming in caves, walking on the rocky beaches and more. Definitely will be my go to outdoor shoe from now on.

Wonderful new flexible lightweight Chaco!
This new Chaco is really better than ever!My first pair of Chaco was purchased in 2000. That original pair was superb! The sandals lasted 10 years with moderate use,and still looked new. No wear to sole. Those sandals were worn on hikes, for a national forest service job, and then in the summer, in the ocean, etc...So...well worn....Why am I saying this? B/c after 10 years, the shoe delaminated due to my negilegence (sandals left for months in the trunk of my hot car)...So in 2010 I had to buy a new pair, and did. At that point, Chacos were no longer made in the U.S.A. but China, and my new pair felt nothing like the original. I did buy a toe strap pair that could not be adjusted. In disgust, I threw them away after a few months and blisters in the trash. Fast forward today...I decided to give them another go now that Chaco had a new sole that was not a Vibram sole (much lighter I heard)....plus I was tired of wearing muddy sneakers on my hikes... I was planning on trying this new pair on, and returning them if they didn't work out....I can tell you how pleasantly surprised I was! The new sandals more than deliver...1. New sole is much much lighter than Vibram sole....allowing me to wear them all day right out of the box.2. No break in period.3. Straps adjusted right away for me. It took me only a few minutes to find the perfect fit.4. Worn all day long and my foot felt great!5. I have an injury that hasn't completely healed (I broke my ankle 6 months ago), but these sandals really made it possible torun around and hike all day long w/out discomfort by the end of the day. This is huge for me!6. The only slightly annoying issue is the strap. It hangs a bit in the back. I just folded it under the strap. I may have someone with a good sewing machine shorten it for me. Otherwise, these sandals are perfect. Now, lets see if this pair lasts me 10 years. So there you have it, I'm a believer in Chacos once again, and can now recommend them. I still wish they were made in the U.S., and maybe they will be again.

Finally found a Chaco that works for me
I have flat feet and more pronation on one foot, which is to say I have an uneven gait which has caused a host of minor feet/ankle issues over the years. What works best for me are my standard, light-weight Brooks shoes, but I have wanted to relieve my feet of shoes for years and never found sandals that are -comfortable for walks/running errands, durable, and good-looking, all at the same time! I read rave reviews of the Chaco ZCloud, and bought those first, but they were too heavy and the arch was hurting my flat foot quite a bit. I decided to break them in and thought I'll get used to the weight, but even after a month I didn't, so I returned them, and decided to give the Zvolves a try. The Zvolves are MUCH lighter, the straps are higher quality (or at least better looking) and the arch isn't as high, which doesn't make feel like my sandal is stabbing me throughout my walk.Have had mine for 3 months now, and absolutely love them. Also, they look super cute!

Best multi purpose sandals I've every bought
This is my first pair of Chaco shoes and as usual, I read a lot of reviews before I purchased, many of the reviews stated to go up a size so I ordered both an 8 and a 9. The 8 fit perfect, the 9 left too much shoe in front of my toes and just looked sloppy. So far I've worn them around the house, to work, on my power walks of at least 3 miles in the evening and to a water park. They have performed wonderfully for each activity.I love that I can adjust the straps depending on what I'm doing, since I sit at my desk at work, I keep them a little loose for the inevitable swelling during the day. For my other activities I keep them a bit tighter. So far I haven't had the toe strap tightening issue that is mentioned in several reviews, but then again I found that they are just more comfortable if I always keep the toe straps just a bit loose. I do keep the straps going over my instep tight for my other activities and have not had any issues. I have fairly high arches and skinny feet so that I end up with a lot of the solid black pull strap on the buckle portion left over, so much so that it drags on the ground and looks awful. I've solved this by taking the strap and tucking it back up under the back ankle strap with the tag facing out so the tag acts as a "catch" to keep the strap from coming loose. It looks a bit funny, but much better then having it drag on the ground. I don't think this particular style is heavy and the bottom of the shoes hasn't bothered my feet at all, also I haven't had any blisters that are mentioned in other reviews. After trying many other multi purpose sandals that are now gathering dust in my closet, I'm so happy that I decided to give Chaco's a try. The are everything I was looking for; lighter weight, better fitting and stylish. I love my Chaco's so much that I plan on getting another pair soon, after all I am planning on getting rid of all those other sandals and a girl has to have choices...Right? :)
