Cool thing. Subtle, when playing closed hi hat and dark/trashy But not too much volume when playing hi hat with foot. Adds cool color.

This is a fairly subtle effect, but adds a nice shimmery depth to the hi hat when you lay into it a bit. Also, this can help contribute a sixteenth note tambourine pattern when riding eighth notes on the hi hat foot.
