Those that complain about the mounts flopping around should try putting the buckle on from the other direction. Mine was pretty sloppy, I turned it around and slid it in from the other side and it was darn near rock solid.Kicking off one star only because its not ROCK solid like any 3rd party plastic buckles. It does have a tinny bit of play at the end. For my application (on a motorcycle) it might cause a lot of vibration noise, however I don't use this camera for audio so its not a big deal.Not a perfect fit, but it should work for most applications needing a tripod buckle.Overall I think its a pretty solid solution.

It's a good piece of aluminum and seems like it will last a long time. Painted very well. The clips for my Hero 7 Black fit nice and snuggly but they take a bit a wiggling to get them back out. It could use a bit of refinement, or more precision milling, so that the fit is snug and smooth. 3 holes for mounting and one center hole for tripod attachment.For the price I won't complain because this adapter will work and likely not fail. I'll have it for a long time.

works great and my favorite one I have purchased but the mount is lightly wobbly FYI for like motorcycles or car application this would be too shaky,

Theres nothing yet to be said about it until I beat he heck out of it in use.

I bought 3 of these. 1 was nice and snug with no jiggle or wobble. 2 were a bit looser and there was a very tiny bit of jiggle/wobble.All 3 were still very useful to me because the go on tripods that arent moved during filming.

Love these things - I don't know why GoPro wants to pretend there's no such thing as tripods, but these little gizmos solve that problem.I shoot a ton of video, and these things are indispensable.All of my cameras and tripods now have "GoPro adapters," to everything can slide together interchangeably.

The material and build is very solid and I like it a lot. However, after snapping in my authentic gopro ball joint mount, I cannot take off my gopro mount anymore....
