I bought this to replace a Wet Brush (which we only had for a year or so). While this is not a review of the Wet Brush, I do feel the need to mention it in order to compare. This Tangle Teezer brush is, in my opinion, superior to the Wet Brush. It is on par on almost all aspects, apart from quality/design, where it exceeds. The simplistic design of this brush means no cheap (albeit eye-catching) design wearing off quickly. It is lightweight (maybe a bit lighter). It detangles well. But most importantly, and the reason I searched for a new brush, is that it doesn't have the bobbles on the end of the bristles. So many (over half) had come away from our Wet Brush, that it was no longer gentle on the scalp (one of the reasons I purchased it). All 3 of my girls love this brush; all 3 have different hair types, ranging from fine and wavy/curly to thick and almost straight. I would completely recommend this and will update if my experience changes!

Used for the 1st time today after pur has weeks ago and I much say it was a joy to use. Went through my child's afro hair like a breeze. Don't know why I didn't know about this brush sooner😊.Glad I made this choice when my old detanhler brushes had worn out.

Never leave reviews but this is so good I had to!! My hair is frizzy and dry due to bleach and this brush detangles so easily!! Can’t brag about it enough, going to buy more in case they ever get discontinued!!

Works well to remove tangles from your hair. The brush has long and sort bristles that catch the cotts and untangle them. I have long thick hair (down to my bum) prone to cotts. I have used this brush on wet and dry hair to remove these cotts and it works well, very little hair is broken. Previously I used a normal brush and it would take half an hour to get all the cotts out and was a very painful experience. With this brush however within 5 minutes the cotts are gone! The brush is very light weight. The only cons are these: its not a substitute for a normal brush, it's a cott removing tool only and should be followed with a normal brush. And secondly the bristles are very thin and bendy and after a while you ll find that some will be quite bent and the brush will need replacing. But even having said that I still think these brushes are amazing and good value for money.

Great product. My daughter is very sensitive and always complains when having her hair brushed - but not with this brush. Gets rid of tangles easily with no pain. Hair left looking shiny and healthy. Easy to use on wet or dry hair, or even for brushing conditioner through wet hair. Perfect. Highly recommend.

I brought this tangle Teezer as the other 1 I brought was for curly hair my is straight so this is good for straight & curly & i like it as it red my favourite colour

I struggle with most brushes due to sensory issues from ASD. I also have very thick wavy hair which is difficult and painful to brush. I’ve included a picture before and after using this brush so you can see it. It took about 5 minutes to brush this out, normally takes longer. It was definitely less painful as someone with a sensitive scalp. My hair looks a bit frizzy, but anyone with wavy hair knows that is normal if you brush it dry! I would really recommend this brush, especially to anybody who struggles brushing their hair or their child does :)

It's a brush that's worth every penny. I have very long hair and I really didn't expect such a result.👏👏👏
