Great Quality - Quiet and Odor Free
We really like this food composter. Our city collects food scraps, so we already put those aside, but my wife has a large, organic garden and it's always seemed a shame that we don't make our own compost for her garden. Now we can and it's so easy! We keep the composter in our kitchen and just drop our food scraps in there directly. Then every few days we run it and get out wonderful compost for the garden. Before purchase, we did have some concerns about how it would perform. After using it we have been very happy. Quiet - yes it's quiet. Leaving it running in our kitchen is really not a problem. It makes some noise, but is really whisper quiet. Odor was another concern, but there is absolutely zero odor from this device, which is great! Understanding how this works to not only mix, but to grind the food scraps, there was some concern about quality and robustness. However, that is totally not an issue here. The machine is built well out of tough materials and should last a good, long time!Overall we are extremely happy with our food composter and the results that we are getting with it. It's so good to make our own, natural compost at home, right in our kitchen! We would definitely recommend this machine to others. One thing to note is that the machine will grind up softer food materials, but tough material (like grapefruit skin) will be harder for it to grind into a fine compost. With tougher food waste, like thick fruit skins, we need to cut it up a little smaller before putting it in the composter, then it handles it "fine". :-) This all depends on what you are using the compost for. You need a fine compost for smaller plants as leaving bigger chunks of food in the compost could burn them. It would be fine, though, on bigger, more robust plants (established grape vines, as an example).

Does not dry out the contents!
I loved it for the first 3 weeks! It took everything and dried it so I could mix it in with soil for my plants…. The programming and guide were easy to understand . Then.it.stopped.workingWhen a processing cycle was done, the contents were not dry, in fact they were wet with moisture seeping off the lid onto my countertop. I tried to process it again, and while it was a little dryer, it still did not produce the dry results the product promised to.It was easy to clean- but way too much money not to work.

Disappointed in the moisture - lots of moisture
This worked great for a while (maybe 3-4 months). I then started noticing that the cycle would end with very wet byproducts - not dirt but instead stinky mud. I tried increasing the process to 4.0 L timing, even it is was 2.0L sizing. Sometimes that worked but again, not consistent. I added shredded paper to every cycle and still not dry .... LIKE DIRT. I would end up with a mound of wet clay. I'm gonna try to reach out to the manufacturer but I'm disappointed in this machine, especially for the cost.Be weary.....

helping the environment
As the weather is getting warmer, it’s planting season. I’ve been planting for many years and I spent so much on fertilizer each year. My friend suggested to turn my daily food garbage to compost as fertilizer. I got this compact machine to put on my countertop. It works great as it is odorless and quiet. It is like any other small appliance with the design. It is big enough that I don’t need to change the bucket everyday. It is very convenient to throw veggies and fruit skins and with a push of button, the cycler works to chopped down into small pieces. There is not much to setup, more like plug in and use. I hope I’m saving money and I feel great helping the environment too.

Good Experience with the Eco-Friendly Electric Composter
I have been using this electric compost bin for quite a while now, and I am gonna to say, for anyone who's big on environmental conservation, this product is a perfect fit. It tackles almost all kinds of kitchen waste and speeds up the composting process like a champ, leaving your kitchen clean and free from any pesky flies or bugs. The design includes several operating modes to accommodate different amounts of kitchen scraps. The rapid mode is a lifesaver for 1L of kitchen waste, turning it into compost in no time. But here's the kicker – it's super quiet. I usually set it to run overnight and wake up to perfectly done compost, all without any noise disturbance. It's been amazing not having to worry about it disrupting our sleep. The only downside might be its energy consumption, but watching kitchen waste transform into compost feels incredibly rewarding. Definitely a worthwhile investment for those looking to make their kitchen routines more eco-friendly!

Counter to Garden in Hours - Amazing!
This composter runs quietly, odor-free, and breaks down organic food waste in hours. Comes out dry and powdery. You have to follow the manufacturer guidelines and not overload it with wet food or, yes, it will take more than a day to dry out, just like any other drying unit. Made well, looks good, and cleans up so easily! Amazing. Highly recommend! After owning for almost year now, I would not recommend this product as it no longer works as it first did. It is not drying properly and the charcoal does not capture the volatile organic compounds, even though it has been changed out. You have run it two cycles now to get it to dry out the material.
