If you love ultra portable PC gaming then this is the device for you. If you’ve always wanted to play almost any video game from your childhood from a device that you can pull out of your pocket, then this device is definitely for you. As a kid I always wanted the ability to play PS2, GameCube, and N64 while in the car, on a plane, or just in bed without a TV. Ever since I’ve discovered the exciting world of emulation, I’ve been trying to do just that. Unfortunately It just was not possible to get games to run at full speed or at all unless you used a bulky gaming laptop or desktop (which neither are truly portable), until now. The GPD Win 3 has finally made that dream of portably of almost any game (retro or modern) come true. The Win 3 can run any emulator from Atari to Switch at full speed. In my opinion GPD makes the best premium emulation devices when it comes to retro handheld gaming. Despite all the negativity I’ve seen revolving around this product, I still went ahead in good faith and purchased the Win 3. Just like all my previous GPD purchases(from LANRUO), the Win 3 exceeded all my expectations right out of the box and out performs any device it’s size. Undoubtedly GPD now finally has some formidable competition on the horizon with the One XPlayer, Aya Neo, and the rumored Steampal or Alienware Concept UFO. However the Win 3 is the only true portable powerhouse, that can actually fit into your pocket. It’s truly amazing what GPD has accomplished with the Win 3. The seller LANRUO in my opinion is the best way to buy GPD’s products. They ship out super fast, and will promptly answer any question you have about your order literally within hours, no matter the time of day. All my GPD purchases from LANRUO have arrived in flawless condition and still work perfectly fine to this day.

So Far It's An Amazing Machine. Been Playing Metal Gear Phantom Pain on Medium and Getting almost 60 FPS. It Doesn't Get That Hot and The Battery Life Is Pretty Good For An I7. I'm still breaking it in but I'm Impressed! Might Have to graph the New WINMAX with the same Specs. All I Wish Is That They'd Put a 1080 Screen on It. It's Truly a Powerful Machine and I've had every GPD Product Since the first Version of the Original GPD WIN. I was Hesitant bcuz it was so expensive but This Is Actually Worth The Price. I might get another one if I can afford it

I haven't have issues with it. Unfortunately it does not run DooM 2016 or old games with lower resolution as 640x800. Bought my games from Steam. Everything else is great.

This is the same review as found in their other GPD Win 3 items. i'm not sure why they have different items so I'm reposting my original review here as well.Let me start by saying that the machine works quite well, however, I hope you never have a single problem with the machine because the Customer Service is horrible.I received the Indigogo version of the machine. Overall, the machine works great. Please keep in mind to do the research before you buy. The machine is small. Its 5.5 inch screen is bright, 720p but windows looks tiny and the icons are equally tiny and may be hard to touch. The 'Touch' keyboard is not good. It works, but dont expect to be able to do much typing on it. There are no raised keys so its hard to know what you are typing, and windows doesnt have the nice predictive typing of iOS or Android.The machine is fast and quite nice when playing games and the joystick controls are quite nice. Overall, the machine would be a 4 stars (minus one for the keyboard)However, why did I give it such a low score? The customer service is not only horrible, they are quite insulting. I received one of at least 150 machines which were equipped with the Intel AC7265 WIFI chip instead of the AX200. We do not know exactly how many units were affected, but we know there were at least 150. The item is listed with the AX200, the indiegogo website has the specs of AX200, however, a bunch of us received the AC7265. We all asked them to resolve the issue. Their response is that they can either 1) refund a measly $30 (off a $1000+ machine) OR 2) they will ship us an AX200 chip for us to install ourselves. Please keep in mind that the chips are SOLDERED ONTO THE MOTHERBOARD and ARE NOT USER REPLACEABLE. We therefore need to find a professional repair person who can desolder the AC7260 and solder back on the AX200 without damaging the unit. Basically, they screwed up, they pulled a fast one and switched a component of our unit, and their response is to take $30 off $1000 computer or to let us try to solder off the existing chip and solder back on the replacement chip.I just really want what I paid for and they are NOT willing to help.This is definitely a niche machine, it works quite well for what it was designed for and its target audience. However, I just hope no one has a problem after the return period of Amazon since their customer service is absolutely horrible. Also, please check your machine against the advertised specs. You could be one of the 'lucky' ones to have received a unit with the swapped network card that may have slipped their stringent QA (like the rest of the 150 of us)!
