Great quality for the price
Bought these because they fit our budget. The stairs are very easy to assemble and very sturdy. I assembled them mostly myself with some help from my young son. A word of caution, the back edge of the top step was a bit sharp and I can see it damaging the pool liner if it makes contact. I sanded it smooth and it's not a concern. I had to add a small block of wood to attach it more securely to the deck but that was easy. Also, instead of filling it with sand, I zip tied a couple of weights to the inside of the ladder and that keeps the stairs securely in place. When the time comes to close the pool, it should be easy enough to lift the stairs out of the pool after removing the weights. I definitely recommend the product.

Nice & Sturdy Ladder
Not too hard to put together Directions aren’t the best & the top the rails are a little confusing. Two things we did wrong we didn’t pay attention to light hole step and put that on the 3rd step instead of the 2nd NBD but definitely make sure not to screw/secure the top rails to the bottom until you measure the height to the deck. Had to take apart and cut. Another word of advise make sure to hold down and thoroughly fill with water I stood on them and turn it side to side and then once almost filled we put heavy tiles on them and let them sit overnight. Very happy the deck is new and I’ve been waiting to do this for years. I’m hoping this will be the last ladder I will ever have to buy!!

Decent ladder
Was not very hard to assemble my husband did use a handheld blowtorch to help with the bending parts. The arms are the only flimsy part and will probably break at some point.

Solid ladder
Sturdy and strong. Very poor instructions but easily assembled if you take your time to understand how it goes together.

Difficult to assemble
Difficult to assemble and not the sturdiest, but they work for what I need them for, at least until we find something else. We also had to use a saw to get the railings to size, so we could screw the railings onto the deck. It definitely isn’t an easy process. If you don’t know someone who is handy, it would probably result in you having to pay someone to install them. I probably would’ve returned them, but they’re so big it would’ve been A hassle versus returning a small Amazon item.

Keep looking
Easy to assemble and stair material seems strong BUT the rails are junk and are not sturdy. The directions they send are less than helpful so we went onto YouTube and found videos to help. The screws for the railings should have been longer instead of the short ones they send. But honestly the design is poor anyways and would need down supports in addition to the longer screws. I have had to place wooden 4x4 post cutoffs next to the top railing on the top of our deck to give that added support. It’s ugly but after shelling out too much money for this junk I just want strength and safety for my family when using the pool stairs. Too bad it is too late and would be tough to get the tiny gravel out we used to weight it down with, to send it back otherwise I would. I will say that the width of the stairs is nice and wide. Nice idea but needs some modifications. I would recommend you keep looking but that’s just my opinion.

Works great very sturdy!
Very sturdy IF you attach it to a deck. It works great my suggestion is to stand on the steps while you install to make sure there is no gap between the steps and pool bottom.
