Prefer this over tots bots
I originally use to buy tots bots potion but found it was expensive as it didn't last long. I stumbled upon this and thought I'd give it a go. And now I wouldn't go back to tots bots even tho it's recommended for their nappies .I personally use this with fairy/persil powder (+comfort on clothes). It does an amazing job! I have a 10L washing machine so I do large washes. About 40 day nappy pads + 5 wraps as well as 8 night nappies plus 40 -50 reusable wipes in to two heap tea spoons of this stuff and the nappies come out pristine and smelling clean. On most occasions it even gets rid of poo stains unless baby has had a bad case of diarrhea and even then some vanish can't budge it fully but it still smells clean. I love this so much I use it on baby's clothes and towels. Leaves it all smelling extra fresh. To give a perspective on how long it lasts I do about 4 washes a week of all of baby's stuff and I usually find it lasts me about 6 weeks . Definately worth the money.

Great for removing stains but hard on clothes
Bought this to sanitize clothes soiled by my baby’s explosive nappies and severe reflux and find it fantastic for removing stains. I add a scoop to a bucket for soaking clothes and then add a scoop to my machine too. My only issues are that clothes are very stiff and hard after if they are line dried, despite using softener as well. However I don’t have this problem if tumble dried so I tend to only use it now for clothes I know are going in the drier. I also think it fades clothes too. A good product for short term specific purpose use but I wouldn’t be using this longer term in my laundry like I have done with Napisan in the past, which I find poorer at removing stains but much gentler on clothes.I’m a mum of 2 who does lots of research and relies on reviews before choosing products for my family. If you found my review helpful I’d love if you could let me know by clicking the ‘helpful’ button below, thanks!

Used on nappies and period pants
I use for both applications on a short cold wash before the main wash and it works well. You have to figure out for yourself what works best for cleaning these items and a 30 min cold wash before using a main wash works for me.

Good stuff
I switched to this from Napisan due to a supply issue at Amazon. I just needed something antibacterial/germicidal to add to my wash loads. I find that a good cleanser makes a big difference and it gives peace of mind at lower temperatures. I rarely wash at 60 degrees, let alone boil wash anything, and that makes a big difference to killing germs in laundry. No more stinky towels the moment they get wet; hygienically clean undies and socks; peace of mind when washing school uniform, tea towels, the dogs bedding... This is not just for nappies!I used to use dettol laundry cleanser, some time ago now, but I didn't like the odd scent or the price, just the capabilities. Napisan is good, I've been happy to use it and I was particularly happy to use it for the added optical brighteners on whites.I think that this product is the best value for money though; a box of Napisan will do 22-23 washes but this does 50, and therefore, wash for wash, it's cheaper. I know there's no optical brighteners so it isn't going to 'restore' the whiteness of school Polo shirts like Napisan has been doing. But this product is far better for every other type of wash load. You really notice the difference in using these anti bacterial additives if you come back to a towel that you left hung up wet, and it didn't dry for a while. They usually get that dirty musty smell. Tea towels in particular. This product kills all the bacteria when it's washed, so that musty horrible smell just isn't there on a wet towel. My towels and tea towels haven't smelled like that for a few years now, but I seldom wash anything beyond 40 degrees, and I've never lifted a load out of the washing machine feeling unconvinced it's clean since using an antibacterial cleanser. It's well worth using this across all your washing, especially when it's as cost effective as this product is.I've also soaked some heavily stained white socks with this over the weekend and it worked on the stains a treat.Thumbs up for this product.

This stuff is incredible!!!
I'd neglected writing a review of this product for a while, but I had to runnnnnnnnn back here after I chucked some of this product in with WHITE bed sheets, that my sneaky toddler had scribbled rainbow colours all over with permanent marker 😭😭 the marks are completely gone!!! And it wasn't even just a little bit. It was allllll over. To the point where I thought I was kidding myself even attempting to wash it.It's also great for reviving dull whites. Honestly love this product. Don't have to worry about my little ones skin getting irritated, but it cleans deeply and greatly 😁😁 pls pls get this and thank me later xoxoOh and it smells incredible

Really good at removing stains
I have been using this for my tea-towels as I tend to wipe my hands on them when cooking or preparing veg or mopping up spills (probably constitutes tea-towel abuse) and they were just not coming clean in ordinary washing. So bought a nappy bucket and some Bambino Mio. My tea-towels are now all pristine and I am very pleased

Not as effective as it claims
This was ok, but I don't think it sanitised them as thoroughly as I was hoping for as there was frequently still an odour.
