Best value for money version of this type of product I could find, and it worked perfectly and powered my Canon EOS M camera. However, two warnings... 1. Leaving the camera powered on for hours may well cause sensor to get very hot, and hot pixel / dead pixel to appear - usually visible both on LCD and in the (ruined) footage, looking worse at higher ISOs, which ultimately requires a trip back to Canon for re-mapping repair! 2. Trying to use the external stereo audio AUX input at the same time as using this AC power adapter can result in horrible ground loop buzz noise. When I tried, I got this problem, and even a pro transformer isolation box from my mixer's audio feed didn't solve it, so I had to go back to camera's batteries to film any videos using the external audio in, which makes this AC adapter virtually useless for me.

I don't know why my camera doesn't have the charging and recording capability. But this sorted me out completely. It does mean I can only use my camera when stationary rather than on the go. But it's fine for me

I bought it as it said it was compatible with canon M50 mark II and sadly it is not. I haven’t even tried it straight away just two months later, so I can’t send it back either. Waste of money.

Great for when you want to record video and don't want a dying battery when recording. The M50's battery has died on me twice when recording. The first time was halfway through recording and the second time, I had just started recording. So this was a perfect solution. There's no hissing or feedback or humming on the recordings but I do use a lapel mic so maybe being far from the camera helps with that. Only problem I have and it may just be because of the tripod I use, I have to have it sitting further forward on the footplate because of where the cabled input is. Other than that, it's great.

This works perfectly with my M50. No more switching batteries midway through a session. Just what I needed.

Need to make sure you put the connecter right up inside, but once in works like a charm.

Poor build quality and does not work with the M50 as stated, a massive shame that’s potentially unsafe as it seems to build up heat.
