Great picks, but they wear out quickly
I love these picks for playing heavy music - rigid, and great resonance. The only problem I have with them is that the TUSQ material does wear down fairly quick with use and I use up these picks pretty fast. They are about $1.00 a piece, so it gets kind of expensive.

they're okay pics if you find what you need them for
first things first if you want a warm tone these pics are not for you. after a 10-year layoff of playing guitar I'm ordered numerous amount of pics from Amazon I thought I'd try these out. for electric guitar I usually stay around 88 to 1.0 mm pics preferably Ibanez or Dunlop pics with a slight edge to each one of them. In I honest opinion the rigidness of these pics is not ideal for lightly strumming or articulate picking or even acoustic use. if you want a bright tone with a picking attack and a stiff picking attack these are right up your alley but if you want warm articulation or to accentuate notes these are not it. at the price it's inexpensive to try out and I guess be now that I've been back at plane about a year and a half again I've had my share of trying out numerous amount of pics within the year to find what really works for me and what doesn't work for me and these particular pics do not work for me at all.I can't place a finger on what these would really be good for since they really do not have any play in them they are super stiff and rigid and I just do not like that.

Really great.
Love the thickness and tone of these picks. Also, the raised lettering on both sides of the pick really help your grip over smooth picks. New go-to.

Four Stars
I like it, but not quite as much as the thinner (.88) ones. Just personal preference.

The pick wore out within one gig
First, let me state I love graph tech products, (their nuts and saddles are on all of my guitars) but their picks are not something for metal/hard rock players to use. The 1.00mm pick wore out after one show... it was unusable as it warped on both the left and right side in opposite directions....Graph Tech should get in the indestructible plastics game... they would make a mint

Incorrect guage, and stiff beyond comparison
I've been using Graphtech picks for at least 10 years, and I ordered these and the tan colored brighter picks recently. The tan ones measure at between .98 and 1.04, and they flex the way one would expect that gauge to flex...but these grey ones measure at about 1.24 and are ridiculously stiff, more like a 1.5 jazz pick. The difference between these and the tan ones is huge . . . BUYER BEWARE
