I use this along with potassium citrate and salt to make my own electrolyte drinks. It dissolves nicely in water. I do use hot water just for the first little bit to help it dissolve, then turn the tap to cold water. I mix 1 tablespoon (half of the scoop provided) with 48oz of water in a 64 oz water bottle. The larger water bottle makes it easier to shake and make sure any particles that didn't dissolve with the warm water do dissolve.Dextrose has been shown in research to aid in sodium absorption. As someone who has POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), a condition that benefits from increased salt to boost blood volume, I find dextrose very beneficial. It is in Oral Rehydration Solutions like Trioral for this purpose.

An absolute necessity with your protein shake right after a workout. I add mine to an MRE Lite shake one scoop of each and I have seen a significant change to my physique. The reason is because it instantly stops the body from resourcing your muscles for protein after the workout and instead the body resources the dextrose sugar to refuel. This is a must for anyone looking to gain serious muscle.

Dissolves easily in warm water. Has a light sweetness.

I have been in a bulking stage and have noticed extra gains since using this after every workout. It seems to create a more intense pump that lasts a little longer after the workout. I have yet to test it during my cutting stage.

If you don't take dextrose just don't goto the gym.

I bought this months ago and I still haven't used half of it. Very good price over quantity. I use about 12-15g for my homemade electrolyte drinks for the gym/workout.
