Matt Black Dimmer Knobs – Pack of 2, Ø21.7mm x 15.8mm, Universal Replacement, 6mm D-Spindle

I needed a dimmer knob and as luck would have it I found these via the Amazon Vine programme (and got them for free). They fit perfectly on my switch pin and they feel like decent quality...certainly better than my original dimmer knob. If these were priced £3.99 (or less) I would have easily given them five stars, but their current price of almost £9 seems extremely high, and almost led me to giving them three stars.

These two knobs have a rounded outer metal finish and inner white plastic inner. They are a good build and have a nice weight. I tried these on an existing dimmer switch. The knobs fitted the spindle well, however, the depth of the knob that fitted on to the spindle was not quite as deep as the existing white plastic knob. However, it is possible that this is dependent on the dimensions of the securing nut on the end of the potentiometer varying from manufacturer to manufacturer. Overall, happy with the product performance. Would suggest the price is a little high as one may be able to find a complete dimmer replacement unit at the current pricing level
