Some good info and some outdated info
Since I'm new to merch any information is good information, with that being said this was a very expensive book IMO and needs to be updated. Some of the links don't work or the info is wrong and there are other programs that can be added. I think a new edited version should be created before charging $30. There is a lot of useful info though and for that I am grateful to the author but I do think it could have been organized a bit better and some things left out.

I'm a young at heart senior (63) and have been blogging and affiliate sales, etc but POD is what now pays all the bills. This book is long (over 300 pages) but is packed with lots of details and tricks to make even this grandmother shine!

The Best Overview of Merch and Print On Demand, Info on 40+ Sites/Platforms, Many Other Tools/Strategies
This book has paid for itself many times over in my business. It can save you many hours of research and help you spend your time and effort efficiently, for example, it will quickly show you which print on demand sites have the most traffic and are the best fit for your style and goals (like highest royalties vs. lowest base price if you want to do a big order for a team or company etc.)It's the most complete overview of print on demand that I have found, with details on many platforms (of course Merch by Amazon, but many more, I think 40+ total), and detailed info on related tools, like image editing software, and even a chapter on outsourcing/working with VA's. The author is the most knowledgeable person I have found on the topic of print on demand.Honestly, I could keep rambling with this review, but the way I look at it, if this book helps you sell about 20 more shirts/products EVER, it pays for itself, and if you're serious about using the info it contains, it will surely do that.

Disappointing
I can honestly say that this is the most disappointing waste of money I have ever spent on a book. The book itself is very expensive (£49.99 in the UK) for what can only be described as blog information. To be clear, I have no problem with blogs. They are brilliant but they are free. This is not. For this kind of money I am expecting to be provided with information that isn't just freely available on the web and already in one place - as there are many "experts" that have all of this info on their own blogs.I've been slowly working with Merch by Amazon for the last 6 months with moderate success and was looking to up my game and take it to a new level. My expectation (based on the price) was that this book would provide me those extra nuggets of information that would help. It did not. Some of my bigger frustrations with the book include:1. Printing a book in black and white with pages showing pictures of the colour choices - everything actually appears in different shades of grey2. Printing a book with URL's included as links. I'm not sure how anyone is supposed to successfully get to any of these webpages when there are 3 lines of text within the URL. This would be acceptable if it was a Kindle book, but not in a paperback.3. Pages and pages of lists of information that quite frankly are unnecessary. Listing the products that each POD company sells is not relevant. Showing screenshots from POD websites with VERY poor photos again is not useful. A single table consolidating all of the products and POD's would be more useful and probably save about 50 pages.4. The quality of editing is poor. I've lost track of the number of typos that I've seen and the editing is inconsistent.5. Quality of pictures is poor. It very much feels like screen grabs were taken from various different websites and thrown onto a Word doc and published without considering how this would display when printed.6. Crossed out links for no longer valid information. I'm going to be completely honest. I don't really care about what a website used to offer - it isn't relevant now and therefore shouldn't be taking up space in the book.My overarching feeling about this book is that it has gone for quantity (of pages) over quality of information. And if this book was somewhere under the £15 mark then I probably would have very few complaints. But if a book is being pitched at the "professional" book range based on price then I expect to get a book that is professional.

Comprehensive and engaging
This book is a comprehensive dive into the exciting world of print on demand. Jacob is a fantastic researcher, and covers far more platforms in this book than most people even realize exist. And yet, the book isn't a dry list of facts - Jacob presents it in a fun, entertaining way. Who wouldn't want to try starting up their own merch business with such clear instructions?
