First I love the 7000 tens machine. I have bought one for myself, one for my daughter and one for my husband. They are the best on the market and the price is awesome. Even my Physical therapist said how good it is. I bought this one because I wanted the belt and it costs more for the belt separately than buying the whole kit. The belt works well for mid back pain but if your pain is on either side it is not the best. when you move it has a chance to lift one pad or the other from your skin and causes a sharp shock like feeling. I like that t includes the snap adapters and spray. The only negative about this purchase is that there is no hard carry case with it. It comes in a cardboard box only. Kind of a drag because the top question asked if it had a case and people said yes. I have a case with my other one so it does not matter as much to me but for new users, it's kind of a pain. Also, I am a bigger lady and the belt fits comfortably on me Also good to note that it came with no tens pads at all.

Advanced arthritis has robbed my mother of her flexibility and left her in constant pain from lumbar stenosis and compressed discs. Yet, at age 89, she remains fiercely independent and refuses hired help.Along with her prescribed medicines, TENS units, used twice daily, give her some of the relief she needs. I have purchased at least 6 TENS units within the past 8 months. Despite using the unit daily, we are still on the original battery. I also find the low battery indicator to be a useful feature.For ease of use, my mother prefers belts for her lower back pain. After wrapping the belt around her waist and fastening the Velcro straps in front, she leans back in her recliner, selects the intensity level and the timer, then relaxes while watching television or dosing off. According to her, the stimulation feels like a gentle massage. By gently stimulating the nerves surrounding her area of injury, we are able to reduce her sensation of pain to a tolerable level.

The product is strong and works well. It does have a few good accessories from the box. I use this often and enjoy the back brace's permanent pads. The back strap is not a brace, it is too flimsy and I destroyed seams just wearing it around and bending. I'm an XL in that sizing. This seems L size. The pad section got removed and is used under a new brace for backs. It still works fine that way! The pricing, every thing that comes with it is definitely a good value.I want to buy sticky pads so I can use both sides of the controller at once because my old pads from an OTC AAA battery TENS device will not fit. The price for new pads is not bad, just noting that the cords are not interchangeable between all TENS devices. Sticky Gel is best for TENS pads. This uses a conductive spray, thankfully not at all sticky. That is my favorite thing. I wear this a lot. I even let my Father try it when he had back pain. He really enjoyed it too. after 2 days, he did not need it. I use it every week at least. 5 stars if the belt was better OR they had better cycle options, like my smaller TENS has.

Unboxed it yesterday. Immediately performed two sessions of 30 minutes each. To be honest, I was skeptical, especially since I had read some scientific peer-reviewed articles debating the efficacy of TENS therapy. Therefore, I wasn't expecting much. However, after the sessions, I didn't feel my back pain for the rest of the evening. I have upper back pain at T4-T5. Have tried almost every modality known to man: acupuncture, chiropractor, steroid injection, non-invasive pain management, RFA (radio-frequency ablation), massage therapy, physical therapy, roller ball therapy, spinal manipulation, and Class 1 drugs. In all, I have spent over $150K to address my chronic back pain, which my neurologist defines as a muscle-skeletal problem, but couldn't pinpoint the cause. Besides the drugs and steroid injection, this TENS unit is the only other thing thus far in my eclectic treatment plan that has provided immediate pain relief. For obvious reasons, going the drug and steroid injection route is not ideal given the significant side effects. I couldn't believe how much relief this unit has provided, and is, by far, the best $35 I have spent in my life. Knowing what I know today, i would probably pay 10 times as much for this unit. Great Product! I have a Tens 6000 and have been sharing it with my wife. She has more lower back pain than I so when i saw that this came with a belt, I wanted to check it out.Everything was new in box, and packaged very nicely. It was very easy to use. Once we had sprayed the conductive spray on the 2 areas on the back brace, we started it use. She noticed a difference in the 2 hours that she wore it. She also had a easier time getting out of the bed in the morning.I decided to try it the next day. I wore it comfortably for about 2 hours and then had to spray it down again. It hit right where i needed it to. I am going to order a second belt and set of snap cables to hook up to my tens unit.This is a fantastic product and was easily worth the money.
