Easy to assemble!
I loved this! I needed a honey box for myself, as I had won a beehive kit in an auction, but it only came with the two boxes meant for the bees and their food supply. You need three boxes for a beehive, one for the queen and her larva, one for the worker bees and their supply of honey for the winter and the third box is for excess honey which is for the beekeeper. I measured my boxes and found this honey box fit perfectly. It was very easy to assemble, the parts fit together just as described and nothing in the package was damaged, broken or missing. I love it and can't wait to use it!

I’m glad I got one to try. Full observation hive for me next?
A friend of mine, whom I got into beekeeping, recently purchased his first hive—a full setup with two deep boxes and two supers. I helped him assemble everything and set up the deep boxes for his colony. Right away, I was impressed with the quality of the boxes, although I only had a few hours to check them out. During that time, I noticed just one or two bees walking by the observation window, and it left me wanting to see more of their activity.Curious to experience it myself, I decided to purchase one of these observation boxes to see if it would live up to my expectations. Spoiler alert—it’s absolutely fantastic! My children, who enjoy beekeeping with me, love sitting down every now and then to watch the bees through the window. It’s a fascinating way to connect with the hive. This spring, I plan on purchasing full hive sets to get an even better view of the action. The craftsmanship of these boxes is top-tier—definitely a cut above many other companies that seem more focused on profit than quality. Assembly is straightforward, much like any other box, but the grooves are noticeably better designed compared to some competitors who cut corners. Overall, it’s been a great addition to our beekeeping journey!

Good customer service
Update:After complaining to customer service, Vevor agreed to reissue the missing parts. However, they actually resent me a full package. I’m so surprised of that. This time the package come in good condition, everything is neatly packed inside(as the last 3 pics). I think if they would have tied up all frame parts together, the parts would not be missing from the first shipment even with damaged packaging. Their hive boxes have good side panels well coated with wax, but the top and bottom board still have obvious gaps between planks. I hope they will improve craftsmanships in the future.Vevor’s customer service responded within 24 hours every time. And their system can let you keep track of the previous conversations.—————————————————————-The package came damaged, the top cover was came broken. Some of the frames are missing.I think the clear window on a hive box was a great idea. However, the hive boxes are not well built. You can tell there are obvious gaps between wood planks with the cover, I’ve bought several different hiveboxes from different brands. And this is the first time I see this. The entrance reducer is an inch shorter than the full width, leaving a big gap. My other boxes all came with a nicely fit full width entrance reducer.Although I’m not a professional beekeeper, I’ve bought hive boxes from 5 different sellers/brands. I’ll say the Vevor hive boxes has the worst craftsmanship of all.I contacted Vevor customer services, they offered to reissue the missing parts. But the representative also completely omitted the broken top cover and not right size entrance reducer problem. I’m okay to fix those on my own, but I will not buy from them again. I can tell that they don’t have a good quality control and product packaging for their products, and they don’t seem to care about that either.

Product is OK but there are some issues.
Pros and Cons:Pro side: Delivered earlier than promised. All the parts were there. Easy to assemble. Lightweight fir wood makes it easier to move the boxes around. All thirty frames fit together very well.Con side: Both brood box sides (with observation window) split while assembling the dove tail connections. It is too weak in this area due to the cut out for window. This was fixable with wood glue and clamps. They need to supply long finishing nails to secure the sides at the dovetail cuts. (my opinion) The bottom board is made out of fir slats. This allows for too many cracks for hive beetles and wax moths to hide in. Needs to be a solid board.Overall the product is OK but I have purchased better from other vendors.

Easy assembly
Easy to assemble, works perfectly. Would recommend using smaller nails or a nail gun on the frames, but the bees like it, so no big deal.

Buy two.
i bought three of these hives; all of them went together quite easily, the first one was the learning curve one; once it was put together the other two were easy. I would give five stars but on one of the three the dovetails were cut backwards so the logo on the exterior of the hive is upside down; not that the bees will care at all but I like consistency. The nails provided for the boxes were weird; some of the boxes did not have enough nails while others had too many. After assembling all three boxes, I had two extra nails so it worked out for me but if you only buy one box, you may end up with not enough or too many nails I guess. Overall great value.
